The Last Guardian

Ninja Turtles by Rocksteady.

That is the only game that would keep me up at night in anticipation. The fact that at least one of the new consoles will be there is hype enough for me.

  • Smash Bros somehow gets Geno as a playable
  • Smash Bros reveals Lil Mac as playable
  • Smash Bros reveals Smash Balls are gone PERIOD.
  • Smash Bros reveals Skytown from Metroid Prime 3 as a stage.


I want some Smash Bros BADLY.

This. Back when 1 vs 100 was live I was just imagining all of the different game show possibilities. The Price is Right where they'd have games and points up for grabs? Family Feud where you'd take your Xbox Live Party and play against another? Could've been great.
 
New Next Gen IPs.

While it'd be nice to see some franchises continue (Fallout) I probably wouldn't get excited until I see what's in store for some new original IPs. What crazy things are studios going to come up that's going to hook me when I see it? And if any of them will be console exclusive, especially from 3rd party.
 
A playable demo of Wii U Zelda. That would be very pleasantly surprising, given the game has only been in development for a year.

My crazy, over-the-top not-gonna-happen megaton would be something like Blizzard resurrecting Starcraft Ghost or Titan being a Starcraft MMO. That would be absolutely bananas.
 
Big third party releases coming to the WiiU. Personally I would like to see the next Zelda with an extremely large world displayed with gorgeous graphics making up for spaceworld 2000.

So much love for the Half-Life series, can't say I understand it. I mean I got the hype for Diablo 3 after the first two, but couldn't care less about another Half-Life myself.

I'd say Mirror's Edge 2 and Endless Ocean 3 are more likely than Star Fox U or Kid Icarus 2. :S

But that's just me.

Stunning 2D Metroid on Wii U.

Retro's game turning out to be an original adventure/sci-fi aimed at hardcore gamers. Large in scope and ambitious. Smaller team working on DKC Returns follow-up.

At this point that's probably going to happen. The Last Guardian isn't going to release before the PS4 is out...why not just up-res it and make it a PS4 launch title?

I'm a simple man. A trailer for Super Smash Bros. 4 will do it for me. Watching the Brawl reveal trailer and the reactions still gives me goosebumps.
