C COCKLES being watched Aug 1, 2004 #2 Try Image Ready. Open a movie then crop what you want. Can do it in Flash as well, but Flash's GIF output is atrocious.

S Scrow Still Tagged Accordingly Sep 6, 2004 #8 For Quicktime movies I usually select the portion I want to make a GIF from, export the movie as JPEG frames and then import those images into Image Ready. I do some tweaking with the timing and smooth transitions for the loops and that's it.
