Holy Christ, that's a huge OT.

I typically check out all the pilots, but each year there's more and more. Currently, I'm really looking forward to Vinyl and American Crime Story.

For sure:

The X-Files
Supernatural
American Crime
Mike & Molly
Undercover Boss
The Middle
The Walking Dead
Survivor

Also:

American Horror Story: Hotel (it'll be over soon! Blech)

Likely:

American Crime Story: The People Versus OJ
Amazing Race
Vinyl

Thanks for the thread as always Ratsky.

Also I suppose people should probably call dibs for threads in here.

I haven't looked into new shows yet, but for returning shows:

The Walking Dead
The 100
Downton Abbey
Outlander
Reign
The Biggest Loser (I know one of this season's contestants!)

Game of Thrones S6 - I've been waiting for this since last June and I can't wait until the season starts again. It's my all time favorite show.

The Walking Dead S6-Part II - Season 6 - Part I was good.

Girls S6 - Season 4 redeemed Season 3 (which was a disaster). I'm interested to see if it improves upon the last one.

X-Files

Shades of Blue - For J.Lo

That's it.

Great job on the thread!

New shows that I'm interested in are Billions, Vinyl, 11.22.63, The people vs, and maybe the path
As for shows that I'll be returning to it will be Better Call Saul, and surely some others I haven't decided on yet.

Dan

No longer boycotting the Wolfenstein franchise
Nicely done with the huge summary, Ratsky, as always!

Right now, I think this is what my spring looks like.

Returning:
The Americans
Archer
Bates Motel
Better Call Saul
Black-ish
Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Childrens Hospital
The Expanse (going to start this tonight...)
Fresh Off the Boat
Game of Thrones
Girls (ugh)
House of Cards
The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Sherlock: The Abominable Bride (I guess, S3 used up a lot of my goodwill for this show)
Silicon Valley
Togetherness
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
Veep
The Venture Bros
The X-Files

Looking forward to trying:
Cassius & Clay
Hap and Leonard
The Last Panthers
Love
The Night Manager
Underground

Maybes, pending time/reviews:
Angie Tribeca
Baskets
Colony
London Spy

Interested in The Path, and possibly 11.22.63, so perhaps I'll have to take the plunge into Hulu at some point in the future.

Holy crap that's a lotta new shows. Tons of interesting stuff in there by the looks, in a huge variety of genres too. I've not watched all the trailers, but at a glance:

Angie Tribeca
Superstore
Jericho
The Family Law
The Wizards of Aus
London Spy
The Magicians
Outsiders
Vinyl
Animals
11.22.63
Hap and Leonard

...all look pretty cool.

Biggest surprise has to be the TV adaptation of Uncle Buck. Did not see that one coming.

Kudos to RatskyWatsky for the incredibly exhaustive OT.

Damn, love this thorough OP. Quite a few shows I wasn't aware of until now thanks to this list! Wish I had Showtime so I could watch Billions for Damian Lewis ):

Have a question though... Can you watch Hulu original shows for free without having a Hulu subscription? I don't really want to buy one just to watch that Stephen King show...

So much shit on television.

The Hollow Crown and The X-Files seems to be the only worth attention of the "new ones".

That "Damien" show though...
I hope: they don't make him a good guy trying to repent.
I think: they're gonna make him a good guy trying to repent.

Top work as usual Ratsky

looks some proper shite (looking at you Beowulf) but should be some half decent telly on.

Will add a few more I am gonna watch, but wanna add that Walter Presents comes out in the UK in January. Is Channel 4's on demand foreign drama service. Handpicked number of boxsets all for free on all4 (used to be 4od). Looks like it could be a great service

In Jan will have; Deutschland 83 (Germany), Pure Evil (Argentina), Ten (Switzerland), Cenk Batu (Germany), Kabul Kitchen (France) and Match Day (France). The Lens (Czech Republic), Heartless (Denmark - looks proper crap tbf), Spin (a French Borgen, also looks a bit poop).

As for what i'd add to that list:

Hinterland Season 2 - BBC Four

The moodiest Welsh noir thing was great, even in English although I might tune into the Welsh version as they get it first I think.

Trapped - BBC Four

Icelandic drama bout...errr some folk being trapped on an island. Their most expensive TV show ever I think.

Follow the Money - DR/BBC Four

Ah man this should be a good un. Team behind The Killing (og) and Borgen making a new crime thriller.

And a bit of news for you Ratsky, as i know you liked The Honourable Woman :)

BAFTA-winner Hugo Blick returns to BBC Two with new thriller (The Honourable Woman, The Shadow Line) Black Earth Rising, a series set in Africa

Writer and creator Hugo Blick says: “Black Earth Rising is a long form thriller which, through the prism of a black Anglo-American family, examines the West’s relationship with contemporary Africa by exploring issues of justice, guilt, and self-determination.”

Great thread as always.

Watched the first episode of Bedrag (Fraud) last night. Looks promising and the reviewers have been hyping up episode 2.

It's Always Sunny, Shameless, Better Call Saul, House of Cards and Archer for sure. Maybe Cassius & Clay because it's Adam Reed, has Kaitlin Olson in it and is on FX, which seems like a solid combination.

Awww. You remembered me Ratsky <3.

Man this season looks awful. Besides the odd miniseries I think Love, X files and Legends of Tomorrow are the only things I will check out for sure. Here's hoping there are more hidden gems for new shows.

Great thread Ratsky.

There are a decent amount of new shows I'm planning to try out but none of them has me really excited. I hope something that isn't even on my radar yet gets great reviews and ends up blowing me away.

RatskyWatsky

Hunky Nostradamus
And holy crap, is Angie Tribeca finally coming out???

And all at once, too!

Just a heads up, the Last Man On Earth is also not schedule right now.

Noted!

You're missing RuPaul's Drag Race from the TBA pile.

Added!

Have a question though... Can you watch Hulu original shows for free without having a Hulu subscription? I don't really want to buy one just to watch that Stephen King show...

Just the first episode, I believe.

As for what i'd add to that list:

Hinterland Season 2 - BBC Four

Trapped - BBC Four

Follow the Money - DR/BBC Four

Thanks!

And a bit of news for you Ratsky, as i know you liked The Honourable Woman :)

Oh, I'd never even heard of that! It sounds like it could be really interesting. Thanks! :D

Watched the first season of Versailles no dong, just bared butts and boobs. ;(

lame :/

I'm not watching a single thing at the moment, feels kinda weird to not look forward to anything on TV on any day of the week. Black Sails is the only thing I'll be watching this month.
