By the time PS3 comes out it would the be the next editions for these next generation verions so it should be a universal improvement, but if they still haven't worked it out....then that's just sad.

They haven't done hockey.

Secondly, EA is known for shoddy visuals. You can't expect them to impress anyone, even with a next gen console.

I have to say that their artists did a great job in some respects, the stadiums in Madden look UNREAL, the detail on the football players is great, the whole colour palette in Live looks realistic, but the problems lie with the programmers not being able to get "last-gen" effects out of next-gen hardware.

I guess that means it isn't a problem exclusive to EA. It's the first gen, the first gen of a new console is always the worst. Games are rushed to make launch and corners are cut.

EA Big is a whole nother story. I was just focusing on EA sports, because those were the games he listed. I loved SSX on the PS2
