So, my GF is bugged out hardcore..and I feel helpless.

Backstory..
15 years ago she dated a guy who was schizophrenic. He was "ok" but a little weird. He went off his meds 2 months in, tried to lock her in a room, she escaped and that was it. Next year also was him dropping off books he pissed in, calling her boyfriends etc.. Last one before we dated (7 years ago) he called and said he wanted to suck his dick.
She told me about him when we met. How over the last 15 years he pops up, contacts her current boyfriends, sends messages etc..

Well, in our 3 years together we havent had an issue with him...till 2 days ago.
He has a new FB account, as she says he always does, found her and sent a message saying.
"You are a loser. This is your last goodbye. Goodbye."

Shes blocked him of course and we reported the account (to no avail even tho its just his name spelled backwards) and now she is scared again. Freaked out to be alone, over all sick with anxiety.
I wanna contact him, beat his ass..but what will it do? You cant beat out crazy. He wont stop coming, other BF have tried this.

I've checked his FB...he is certified crazy.
Seeing his room via pics is filled with crazy writing on the walls. Lots of paintings of gibberish done in his own blood. Lots of photos of knifes (mostly butterfly knives), bullets, violent shot and such.
He post the same Grimes videos over and over again. Random train of though post, about showering with a jar of toast, nibbling on girls body parts. Lots of talk about karate, how he is in love with anime girls of video game ones.

I wanna murder this dude cause shes a wreck...but I made a promise not to talk or confront him. Her problems are my problems and I solve my fucking problems ya know?
And we talked about getting police involved, but let's be honest a piece of paper wont make her feel good coming home at night wondering if some psycho is hiding in the bushes with a butterfly knife.

Well, she claims him and his friends (musicians, artist, rich guys) fucked her and other girls and recorded them and put them online in a members only upload site. She isnt saying what site but is saying its American owned and operated but financed via a wealthy Greek investor.
Videos of her and other guys being pissed on, smacked around, etc..

All this is plausible...but INSANE. I met some of these people. She referred to me as her "Hipster boy toy" kinda. It was crazy town for the 6 months I was with her. First time I dated a girl who's answer to you being angry with her was "Well, fuck my ass really hard to punish me" Seriously, that's how she apologized..

So, that was a bonus update to my initial post lol
Not gonna lie..I'd pay to see her get pissed on by that dude. I know revenge porn ain't cool but she did me dirty at the end. Even the last night we saw each other she told me she explained how she wanted me and that dude and we could fuck on week days. I said Nah, and said he could keep her...but she sent me off with a BJ.
Next day called me and said "I was drunk last night. What ever happened was because you took advantage of me. Dont tell anyone or that's what I will say."

So yeah, that's my crazy for the day lol

It’s becoming very apparent to me that you have to be very careful and diligent in regards to the people that you let into your life.

You are right that a piece of paper isn't going to do much but it's still better than nothing.
As far as I know if he then ignores the restraining order and gets close to her again he will be facing legal consequences.

And who knows, maybe it helps to bring him to the attention of the authorities. Maybe he is involved in other shady stuff or has been reported by other people
