Since the assault weapons ban expiration seemed to be such an interesting topic today, let's talk about what weapons you own.

As for me, no firearms. I've got:

2 katanas (one is the typical curved kind, the other is straight and shorter, and was advertised as a "ninja sword" on eBay, but it was cool looking and just $15, so I got it)

2 sais

1 non-descript but large hunting knife

True, and I was considering adding a disclaimer limiting the responses to physical, inanimate objects (thus excluding the mind) that are designed primarily with an intent to use them for inflicting bodily harm (thus exluding a simple kitchen knife) on something, or something like that. But I was lazy.

Edit: And in response to Chrono: I just bought them because they looked cool, and they mainly sit on a shelf. If I'm bored I'll sometimes recklessly swing them around in close quarters, but that's about it.

i have an egyptian knife, rippled...its sort of like a sai. and i also have a samurai sword, very light. none of them are weapons for use, they are both blunt. but the sword can be sharpened if so desired.

I'm still trying to figure out how to properly use the left one (pictured right on your screen)... might have a safety on that I haven't quite located yet. A set of samurai swords. I had a relative give them to me when I was very young.

I used to hunt when I was young as well. I have a .22 rifle and a 30/30.

I used to live in the city...I have a mean looking Mossberg 12 guage.
