besides the incredibly unimaginitive 'Super Ghouls'N Ghosts' ? ....which btw was, before released, known as Ghouls 'N Ghosts 3.....

mind you, a true Ghouls 'N Ghosts sequel could've/should've been made on the CPS III or Saturn or even Dreamcast. completely 2D of course. and as big a leap in quality over Ghouls N Ghosts (1988, 16-bit arcade) that Ghouls N Ghosts was over Ghosts N Goblins (1985, 8-bit arcade).

while I love SGnG on SNES and SGnG R on GBA, they just don't have the same quality as Ghouls ' N Ghosts.

Maximo and its sequel can only remotely be concidered related.


for a true 2D Ghouls N Ghosts sequel, I'd name it:

1.) Knights 'N Demons (good knights vs evil demons)
2.) Ghouls 'N Demons
3.) Worlocks 'N Witches
