Whatever happened to Darkshire?

What ever happened to Darkshire, our beloved "Depeche Moderator"? Haven't seen him around in a few days.
 
I heard that demi gave him AIDS. I also heard that he is the man with 3 buttocks, and that's why demi couldn't resist giving him AIDS.
 
Darkshire rules. Always mad chill whenever we touched base when I used to be "dee" over at hardcoregaming. Wassup, Darkshire!

Someone kick Dark off of FFXI, at least for 1 day.

Yeah, one and the same. HG kinda went downhill overall ever since all the old editors kinda jumped ship--Cahill's still around though he's more of a lurker now, Electricphase I never saw again online (too bad to, he was fucking funny as hell), same w/ Nextjen. Border's the only one I still "see", and he's here now, just like me. Ed's still there too, along w/ a lot of the good posters from the heyday, but it all feels so desolate now over there.

Edit: Also, for the record, that's where the phrase "WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!" was born. :)

Maybe after life has ripped out his tongue and dipped it in Fermaldehyde would that happen. Miss the fella though! Even though he beat on me mercilessly about my exes.

Hito has always posted as Hito as far as I know.

And yes, Darkshire is playing FFXI although I could care less about that ass.

I used to play tons of late-night PSO with Darkshire.
Hope he's doing alright...and not playing too many games.
 
The important thing is that 5ish years later I no longer confuse Hito and Hota, and I can mostly seperate Darkshire from EviLore when I read their posts. Although as far as I'm concerned Wilco = Matlock until I see both of them in the same room together. Just try and tell me it doesn't explain so much!

That would've been the case but he backstabbed me and the LS which is made up of GAF members (the few of us anyway) and etc.

When the game was released for the PS2, Darkshire started with us on the server. We helped him getting adjusted to the game and doing lesser things (Subjobs and rank stuff for example). Everything was fine for quite awhile.

When he hit 50, I pushed to get his stuff done for 60 and then on so that the LS could do post-60 game content as a group rather than doing it with pick-up groups. So I did push to get his junk done, Artifact armor, Genkai 2, and a few misc things. We had plannedg to do shit as a group and was counting on Darkshire to back us up as our mage support (since we lacked a white mage at the time). However, when we approached him about doing this stuff, he flat-out refused us citing reasons such as "I don't want to die and lose XP" to not do this stuff. Lame excuse aside, I wouldn't normally mind this. People have their varying reasons for not wanting to do stuff. The kicker is though, around this time Darkshire joined an end-game LS and was constantly doing stuff with them including the activities he said he didn't want to do with us. This happened again when we approached him to help with Zilart Missions from the Zilart Expansion pack. We asked him and he refused again and of course he did it with others.

So this kept happening until a couple of months later, he found out that all of us were pissed off at him for using us to get a springboard to do shit with other people. He comes into the LS saying he didn't know we were mad at him and that we should've said he was being a jackass and etc trying to apologize to us and making amends. He never actually was sincere about his apology either. We never saw him on the LS again and he never bothered listening or asking us if there was anything we needed help because of lack of people. It's basically been this way since. I've had him blacklisted since then and I'm still mad at him. I've known him since I started here on GAF and to get backstabbed by someone you thought was a friend leaves some nasty scars
