Plus later in the game during the final mission, you can actually use an even stronger weapon cause the news reporter would be very depressed if you do. And when I saw that I'm like how much worse could it be when the first blast was realistically suppose to wipe out the Earths surface already lol.

I don't know where to start & end, but the end of disc 2 into disc 3 of FFIX (trying to avoid spoilers) is its strongest zenith. I still get hit by the feels each time I go back.

My favorite fight in my favorite game. So cool to be the Son of Dracula and (what you think at the time) the final boss is a Bellmont! This clip is pretty good, have time to enjoy the awesome music, see all of Richter's attacks. Guy playing is kind of rubbish but whatever. I prefer the original Voice Acting also, but whatever.

It's a funny idea that anybody could get to that point in SotN, claim it's their favorite game, and then just proceed to kill Richter and congratulate themselves on a job well done.

In all seriousness, if they continue Castlevania Nocturne on Netflix, it will be really kick ass if the next season takes place 5+ years later where Richter has gone missing and Maria is an adult. They never properly introduced Shaft, but they can easily introduce a cult of Dracula thing. I know they've avoided resurrecting him like every Castlevania ever, but it could be justified if they do season 3 & 4 of Nocturne as Symphony of the Night.

This game is so underrated.

Everything hits the perfect notes it needs to hit, the fight, the second half, the music, the moment.

Composers have even been shown this boss fight and have commented on how amazing the music sounds and how wonderfully it fits the game.

Also a near perfect moment that shows you exactly how powerful the main character is to let you know that you can parry nearly everything, no matter the size of the opponent, while the adrenaline rush of the lyrics kick in with the electric guitar.
