What's the most unique control peripheral ever made?

I just picked up DK Jungle Beat, and I got to thinking. There have been drums, fishing rods, maracas, and even robots released for consoles. Some of these items are only useful for a few games, while others work for every game. Then there's the programmable controllers, and rapid-fire ones. I remember owning a Turbo Touch 360, and of course the zapper and super scope 6 for the SNES.

Which peripheral is the most unique?

Which one is the most intuitive?

Which is your favorite?

The answer to all 3 questions:

The Steel Battallion controller only works for one game and is insanely expensive, but hell if it isn't completely badass and awesome.

It doesn't answer any of your questions, but:

The Sega Master System 3D glasses
The Genesis Activator
The Power Glove

All three, in the grand scheme of things, are very unique. The SMS glasses were based on electronically controlled LCD shudders, producing a much more accurate 3D picture than the NES Red/Blue method; the Activator was probably a great idea on paper, but using a sensor-activated "ring" on the floor to control a 2D beat 'em up wasn't the most accurate thing in the world. As for the Power Glove? Well, um...er...

Hey, it looked pretty cool, right?

Probably that Glove thing for the NES or the god damn piece of shit Robot thing that came with the lemming type game

Well, the one that awed me the most, to this very day, has to be:

The Negcon should win this category though. Wish I had that black one.

Hellraizah: Is that a 3rd party one? I got the official Konami one...it looks and feels cheap compared to the arcades...that one looks niiiiice!

I'm not sure.... they are supposed to sell that on Liksang. I don't really know the game nor the controller, but I've seen this before and I thought it was pretty neat (although, with no crossfader, I can't understand how, and if, this is supposed to recreate the scratching feel)

I really wish you could remap the bongo buttons.

I just played the Resident Evil demo with it. It would be nice if more than A, B, Start, and Y worked. :p
