It wasn't entirely intentional. It was more a result of my schedule. I was already on a diet that previous summer, so I limited my intake to a lot of healthy foods. Fall quarter swings around and I enroll in weight training and jogging classes. Every Tuesday and every thursday morning I'd workout for one hour, from 7am-8am. Then, directly afterwards, I would jog/sprint for an hour (the coach recommended that if the students couldn't keep up, that they could walk). I chose to jog the walking sessions and sprint the jogging ones.
Not only that, but everyday that week I would rehearse
and teach the candidates for the dance team for four hours every night, from 6pm-10pm. In between the workout and teaching/rehearsal I had school more than full-time and a part-time job on the weekdays + weekends. I never allowed myself to eat fast food, only small fresh fruit snacks and a rice bowl for a treat if I was starving (That was usually in the morning, I worked out before I ate any breakfast).
