What's the state of Dreamcast emulation?

My Dreamcast is back in Australia but I have recently found a wonderful game exchange store here in London with an asston of great Dreamcast games. (Toy Commander!)

Any chance of getting these to play on my 2.6ghz P4 with Radeon-M 9700?

Or am I completely delusional?

Yes :D
How will you read the proprietary GD-ROM format with your CD/DVD drive?
Buy a used Dreamcast, it's cheap.

I live in a small London flat with one TV that is usually occupied by my housemate wtahcing his Buffy and Angel DVDs.

PC is my major gaming mechanism over here.

I forgot that the DC discs were proprietry :(

Guess that answers this thread.

Small app running on a DC, transfering the raw blocks to the PC via a special cable/network?

Ahh can't be bothered with all that.

I'll just buy the games and take them home with me.

Just get a VGA adapter along with the Dreamcast at the same store or order the adapter from Lik Sang or Play Asia. It's cheap, you'll have it in like a week and you'll be able to play your DC on the PC monitor.
