What's the story behind your current avatar?

The blob was from some deviantart picture, but cropped out. He's in a Zelda outfit because... I love Zelda! And I thought the green blob suits the green tunic Link wears.

I like Mona, I was perma-banned for nearly 4 years and then pardoned after some Sonic 4 green-eyes fiasco, and to this day, all my current Mona avatars have Sonic's green eyes. That's pretty much it.

Eddie Campbell's Bacchus, wearing a Thanos skin.

Bacchus is a comic by Eddie Campbell about the eponymous diety, trotting around the modern age, drinking wine, getting into bar fights, and discussing history.

Thanos is Thanos.

It's Nonowa (‎ののワ), an odd iM@S meme based on a character call Haruka Amami from 2ch, dressed as Mario.

I was sent a link to the following image via Twitter, thought it was funky so I made it my avatar for the month.

Halloween was over and after a crappy creepy avatar I needed something different until I could think of something.

Probably already has been more than a year.

It's one of my cosplays of Poison Ivy. Ever since the first real-pic January thread I tend to use my own pics as my avatars. I have more pics in costume than in regular clothes.

I lost a bet okay

(actually I didn't, I just felt bad for the other poor souls in MangaGAF who did)

For the Grad Show for my two-year animation program, we had to have a "banner image" above our booth with all of our work. I figured I'd do a self portrait (afew other people did some too, others just kinda grabbed a pre-existing piece of art they'd done). And... yeah, that's it. This is the main image, but for the banner, I'd altered the colours a bit to a more orangey hue instead of green.

But yeah.

here's the full image

That's not a Frank Miller drawing? I'm really surprised. Although, I do always picture your avatar eating an industrial sized can of chili.

I fell in love with Ellie straight away. Her character is so well written and perfectly voice acted. And I loved that particular shot of her looking out of the window, unable to take her eyes off of the outside world she's never known.

She's one of my favourite videogame characters of all time, I just clicked with her more than I do with the vast majority of videogame characters.

My wife (then fiancee) surreptitiously took a picture of me scanning the restaurant for the nearest waitstaff so as to procure us large quantities of coffee for our breakfast.
