What's the story behind your GAF AV & user name?

I know we had a thread like this sometime back but, I decided to define this a bit more and revive the discussion. So...what's the story behind your avatar & user name?

Happosai is the pervy fiend in Rumiko Takahashi's Ranma 1/2. I thought the character being about as far from who I am to use that as I noticed when signed up, most on GAF picked humorous names. That AV has changed only a few times since a joined a couple years back but it's always been the animated version of Happosai.

What's your story behind the small photo and name?

This is one of those threads that always makes a return, often due to curious newcomers to NeoGAF. My avatar is of the NFL's New York Giants Football Club and I can't really remember the origin of my username. Essentially it means something that constantly changes, so you can't put a pin on it.
 
Avatar: saw the Mario characters holding controllers at a point in the video explaining Nintendo's online membership thing-y. Thought Peach holding a Switch controller was amusing and cute, so I used it.

Username: I really like Dr. Doom, and 1985 is the year setting of my favorite comic book, Watchmen.

Name randomly generated back when I played EverQuest. Avatar from a zombie movie poster that looks a lot like me.
 
It's just something my cousin blurted out when he hit his head on a monkey bar when we were kids. It's just stuck on me since most of my prior usernames were just my name with big brother modifier at the front in my language.

AV is just a Japanese model that I found that looked very similar to someone I liked and obviously I would not put their picture on the internet so I settled for a public figure.
 
I've been trying to figure out what the cloaked figure was on Tesseract Tesseract 's AV was. I know he's not here anymore but I saw someone else with that AV recently.

Also... Maiden Voyage Maiden Voyage ...likes sailing? But looks nothing like the ghost in the AV?
 
I could never settle for a user or nickname when i was younger. Then i thought that my mind and character is still in a conceptual phase and thats why i can't decide. From there i went with Con-Z-epT.

The avatar is an artwork from Enis Cisic that was released alongeside the Colonize EP from Billain. Since i'm obsessed with his music i used this.

I typically pick minor anime characters for yhe few sites I use. I almost went with Koshigaya from the Biohunter movie. Not sure why I settled with this...
 
My username is one of the code names for the Dreamcast (one of my favorite consoles), and my avatar is an 8 bit version of this iconic picture of Da Coach.

Stone Cold Steve Austin called The Undertaker a big, dead freak one night on Raw. My mate knew I used to mark out for the dead man so when I phoned him one day he answered by say 'alright, you big dead freak'. It made me laugh so I used as my username in every forum from then on.

This one had me laughing. I'd derail the thread asking who the wrestler was who called everyone 'pencil necked geeks.' He even had a song about it.

Artwork is nice for an AV. I admire painters because they have the gift to make something inspiring which I could only dream of. I make comics though...but I'll save that for another thread.

Correct on both counts, sir.

He was a little vacuum when it comes to food, so now we're putting him on a stricter schedule. It shouldn't be too bad since he's extremely active. He's getting a little chunky though for sure lol.

It's hard with cats though. My last cat would get doll eyes for abything non diet. At the time, we were both dieting...so he'd usually strike my own guilt. Everytime I hear the name Kirby I think or that PSH rant his character "Dusty" gave in Twister about the suck zone.

Ranma 1/2's Kunou + Nabiki = kunonabi

Ranma was one of the first anime I got into and Kunou and Nabiki are still my favorite anime duo.

Current av is a bit of a placeholder since I lost the Kunou and Nabiki pic I was using. Elvira is just awesome so why not.

I knew the story on your user but thr AV I thought had always been Elvira. Maybe you could find a Nabiki/Elvira Photoshop cross-over.

I used to be like House MD.

I lost my medical license after allegedly marking the internal organs of the alleged eight patients with my initials.

My avatar is one of the alleged patients who was a fan of Street Fighter. It is a nice memento.

Nick is from my days at college. Used it a lot when LAN partying, but I don't remember why I picked it. Guess that's part of it's charm.

My avatar is just because I like SMT and specially those fucking hee-hos.
