Meh,pepperoni is so basic. So boring. You gotta spice that shit up man.
I'm fairly certain that Delissio smokes their pepperoni for their pepperoni pizzas, it tastes fantastic and quite different from the offerings of most pizza places. Apparently it goes by the name of DiGiorno in places other than Canada.

It's not boring at all! It's my favorite topping because it's just so good. I've tried other toppings and I just can't find the pizza good/superior to pepperoni.

While pepperoni is my favorite, I kind of agree with this and have started trying a lot of different toppings. I can see BBQ Chicken becoming a favorite. Philly Cheese Steak is pretty solid too.

Pineapple and ham/Canadian bacon. I also enjoy Tabasco sauce on the pizza sometimes, though I obviously add that myself.

As for the type of pizza, it really depends on my mood. A regular pan pizza is good most of the time, but it's not exceptional quite as often. Thin crust pizza can be really tasty sometimes, but often it can just be insubstantial, overcooked, and unsatisfying. Deep dish pizza is delicious as well, though that's almost more like a lasagna or a casserole than pizza in the traditional sense. Cheese stuffed crust is heaven.

Sausage and onion are my favorite toppings, closely followed by black olives and peppers. But you can't have a good pizza without a good crust.

I was just about to start making a pizza but really didn't know what toppings to add. Good ideas in this thread. thnx gaf.

Hawaiian is fucking gross. Yuck. Pepperoni and sausage all the way. Ham, salami and bacon are great too. The more meat, the better :D

Not too doughy, thin with a few air pockets, topping: prosciutto funghi, tonno e cipolla, margarita, acciughe e olive.

OHM NOM NOM NOM.

Pepperoni and Cheese with some nice thick crust. None of that flimsy thin crust that basically falls apart. Give those toppings a sturdy base!

Green peppers/Pepperoni is also good, but I usually stick with the trusted classic.

I get those Delissio Rising Crust pizzas a lot, but I can't understand for the life of me why they feel the need to toss so many little chunks of extra pepperoni under the cheese. They've already got enough with the tons of good pepperoni slices on top of the pizza. The little chunks underneath are just overkill. Either way they still taste great. I was suprised the first time I got one.

Half cheese & tomato, half peperoni - maybe some spicy beef too.

My local pizza place does a duck pizza with hoisin sauce base, it's really nice but I can't ever eat more than a few slices, so I can't in good faith declare it my favourite.

I haven't found a topping yet that I dislike. Any and all meats, all sorts of vegetables, Hawaiian... it's all good. I'm partial to a thinner crust and go for saltier combinations most of the time: black olives, anchovies, sausage... that sort of thing.
