There are some region free xbox games that I want to buy from US due to the fact that they're much cheaper there (not to mention the currency rate), but I don't know of any online shops that don't rip you off with shipping..
Any recommendations?

Maybe some online shops are marginally cheaper, but videogamesplus are cheap enough (especially if you live in Europe). And fast, and reliable (and always helpful and friendly in their responses) which makes for a great combination few other online shops can match.

I ordered MP2E from videogameplus recently as a test - shipped on preorder shipping date - can't get here soon enough. Anyhow.. try them or DVDboxoffice (cheaper all up + shipping). Some people have had problems (iaeptus) but the many times I've ordered; never had a problem.

also try ebay from reputable sellers and the sale.trade forum here.

ebay.com is probably your best bet, just be careful to only buy from people with good ratings and ones that shipped to europe before.

I've used DVDboxoffice lots of times now and never had a problem, they deliver pretty fast and for free.

I don't like to knock DVDboxoffice. Most of the time I have used them they delivered quickly. But because they don't show stock availability, you are effectively shopping blind. Thats what I put down to their lack of delivering anything to me the last two times I used them (for advance wars 2 and FF Tactics). So I gave up.

I tried play-asia recently and they are pretty good. Videogamesplus get a good write up, and also importmadness.co.uk (might help avoid customs?)
