So I missed the window to preorder from Gamestop for the "day 1" delivery, but this weekend I need to get a preorder in somewhere that can still get me a system at launch. I'd prefer to get one from somewhere with a buyers assurance plan as well

So where can I go?

I'd imagine that if you're hellbent on getting it ASAP after launch, well, Amazon hasn't even put it up on their site yet. Also, Outpost.com has a bundle you can buy. $349 gets you a PSP, Metal Gear Acid, and THUG 2.

Gamecrazy, that is if the one in your area didn't fill up the 5-6 preorder limit. Take your luck at Best Buy, Walmart, or Target on day 1 if you don't mind waiting prior to opening. That's what my friends are going to do.

I agree. Gamecrazy is probably your best bet. The one near me has only one reserve at the moment.

I was able to get one reserved at my local EB on monday and they had 5 more reserves after me. Probably now gone, but its worth calling around.
Or make friends with a worker at a retail store. I know people put DS's aside at my TRU for friends, haha.

I'm hoping that TRU or Best Buy does preorders. Otherwise, I'm at Wal Mart at midnight, or spending the night at Best Buy.

yeah, in unpopulated areas, stuff is usually alot easier to find... in big cities, shit goes FAST!
