Where do you think I can sell my game and what to name it?

It's nothing huge.
A 2D shooting game I worked on. I used AI and Photoshop for the characters and some other things.
And I want to sell it, but where and at what price?

5 - $10?

What about the name? Can someone suggest what we should name it?
Maybe - Krysis 2D, is the name used? 🤔

Some answers from ChatGPT! I really want to use the name, but I am not sure if there will be problems!

You should warn heavy gif
You want suggestion? the artstyle is clashing,
vfx doesn't even matched

And the use of AI will not impress some people.
the character is too big if You want more action.

the trademark is also harsh one to fight on.
You might face some copyright / trademark notice

the price depends on the scope. but usually below 10
i think it's 3 to 5 at max

source: I'm game dev specialized in visual, also game designer and art director.

Not a lick of originality in your bones, eh? lol

Last time you posted this I mentioned that if this gets any attention, Crytek will force you to take it down.

Why don't you spend some actual effort in customizing the character model so it doesn't look like someone wearing a nanosuit?

Put it in itch io and make it free
But realistically, this is your best option

I hope you use the knowledge you gained from building this and make something original next, don't use other people's IPs

I'd recommend zooming the camera out. Shots come from outside of the camera and that sucks.

For the price... I'd give you an idea: go to Steam, look for games that have the same price as yours and compare them. If you aren't confident in your game being better or offering more than those that are in the same price range, then you have to lower the price.

If you want an honest opinion, I would put it on itch.io for free.

I am sure my game offers more gameplay / fun gameplay than the famous banana game on steam 🤣

It does not have any gameplay. You just click and nothing happens lmao.

That "game" is played by bots to generate money, not people.

Nothing that happens there make sense (as usual with AI). There are smoke FX in front of the bow? Why? A laser shot coming from the right and just vanishes before the player character? Depth of field effect changing like the lense is refocusing... for no apparent reason. Weapons shoot laser things with like 5 frames per second on that animation?

Sorry to say this but I wouldn't spend a minute on this, let alone money.

However, you might try itch.io

..you should direct that (valid) critisism towards the AI instead as the OP obviously didnt 'create' SHIT ! 😜
Lol, I made the movement/animation for the main character. The AI is used to give me a similar suit to the nanosuit (somehow), and I had to edit the suit in Photoshop and add new things myself.

You think the AI made the animation or the movement? I wish that was real lol
Or if there is something like that, I will gladly use it for better animation.

You don't need very detail animation like Vanillaware but you need something to show the character letting go the string to fire the bow, for now it just looks like still picture of the character holding a bow

Limited animation can be very useful tool if you limited by time and budget.

Out of curiosity, how many hours did you spend making this game?

Reminds me of klik and play and the games factory games makers. I loved those. If the op is a youngster I would say keep going and messing about and you will make something that you will enjoy, if a few others do too that is a bonus. I like the environment but clearly the gameplay isn't here yet and you can go in a few different directions. It might be best to come back after a few months more work?

I don't have any advice to give but I just wanted to say congratulations!

Kudos to you for working on a videogame you wanted to make, regardless of the end product. Make a post here or DM me when its on sale officially. I might check it out.

A.I. RCH3R 2D

I dunno. Just pay me a $1.00 for my services, if you make any money....

Can i sell it on this site?
i think 4 /5 $ is good

Putting it on steam requires me to pay a 100$ fee!
You can but you should just make it free. Not just because this is nowhere a market-ready game, but also due to the obvious copyright contentions at play here, which would become a far worse problem if you were to actively try to make money off of it.

The store also gives the option to let users pay extra for a game, including free ones, as a form of "donation". But lets be real here, no one would do it for this.

But what copyright? there is no game named Krysys 2D or Krysis , and the character is very different.
palworld have very similar creatures to pokemon and they sell it.

Palworld is also a full-fledge, proper game that has a lot more selling points and creative input than just having a few creatures that look similar to some pokemons. Krysis 2D doesn't. It also has a completely different name that has no chance of ever misleading people. Krysis 2D has 100% chances of fooling at least a few stupid people, and that would be brought up as an argument in a lawsuit as a scam attempt. Palworld devs also have a few dozens of millions in their bank account to face a lawsuit, i dont know you but i'm 99% sure that you do not.
