That's all well and good but prior to that we had the single he cut with DJ Shadow, the rest of which remains burried

We had the shit he made with Trent Reznor which also remains burried

And the EP he made with Jon Theodore as One Day As A Lion.


Everything this man is involved with is fire. Why in the hell isn't he more productive?

I'm thinking he's more like a Sly Stone/Dr Dre type, just a one in a million talent that for whatever reason after seeing massive early success, shies away from the public.

Other than that we need a RATM album now more than ever before.

A new Rage album would be interesting. But contrarily, I think they probably did everything they set out to do. The messages in Rocha's lyrics still resonate in today's world. Songs like Killing in the Name, Bulls, Revolver, etc. still hit perfectly in light of recent world issues.

I know they said we're finally getting the Zack solo album this year but I know better. Done this too many times. That Digging for Windows track is already 5 months old. That's too far a lead for a new album, especially with nothing following it up.

When I went to see RTJ in Atlanta The Gaslamp Killer had said he was in the studio with him. Played a bit of a new song too.

Huge RTJ fan as well. But after the RTJ2 feature we were in the exact same place we're in today, optimistically holding out that it meant the return of ZdlR.

Two years later...

Can't wait to bump this thread in late 2018 when we get RTJ4 and another Z feature.
