Where to buy used games (Ebay, EB, Gamespot, local store?)

I'm looking for a good deal on Soul Caliber 2 for GC. I'm wondering where I should head. Any experience is appreciated.

Gamestop or EB are probably your best bet. Just ask to see the CD before buying it, and whether or not they have the manual/case. Plus, both stores have 90-day return policies on used stuff.

If possible though, I try to buy from this privately owned, second-hand electronics store. Its the only place where I can buy used Game Boy games and expect to get the box/manual.

Whatever happened to that stickied Buy/Sell thread?

I'd recommend to check out Toys R Us, because Soul Calibur 2 might be green tagged (1/2 off) if you find it.

Right now I'm looking to get some PS1/2 gun games cheap. Specifically Point Blank 1-3.

There's a privately owned place on the way home from work. I'll check it out before I go to Gamestop. Thanks, I didn't know if the place would be worth my time.

Every indie store is worth your time until you know if they're good or bad. It's impossible for us to say if your place(s) are good, so just check them out before going to EB.

Exactly. If you can, try and find some pawnshops.. some of them do games. Found Shenmue 2 for $35 AUS with a 25% discount sale. Then again there were some shops, i.e. K-Mart selling it for around that price, original.

Hey, I just realized the game is only 20 bucks new. Soul Caliber 2.

I think thats the best price you can get unless there's some weird sale somewheres.

Soul Calibur 2 for PS2 is lying on the bargain table at my Toys R Us for $7.49. Chaos Legion too. People should definitely start watching the bins at TRU and others for games like this.

Not true! There are a bunch of games that sell for less (sometimes much less) than on eBay at the EBs and Gamestops of the world. You just have to check the condition of stuff before you buy.

I would just suck it up and buy it new since it's that cheap. Which version are you looking for?

Also, if anyone's interested I'm selling the majority of my game collection in various auctions on eBay. I can PM if need be. I'll delete this if this post is inappropriate but it seems on-topic.

Raiden, post your ebay name! What you're selling is on topic with my post. You're not intentionally soliciting, you're helping me out.

Don't hurt him mods!

Gamecube version BTW

gamefly is great too..cheap, and you dont have to be a subscriber. If you are, you get even better deals.
