We've seen countless numbers of Super Mario Bros. and World games re-released for the GBA. A Link to the Past, all three DKCs, F-Zero, Mario Kart etc... all of these games but where is the greatest SNES game of them all? I hope Nintendo has something big planned for the re-release of Supe Metroid because you KNOW it's coming at some point.

Metroid 2 is the one that needs it more.

Cool game. But the whole theme of hunting down and exterminating an alien race all by yourself could be done so much more justice today.

Agreed.

Super Metroid is still a gem of gaming that stands up to today's standards. It's perfect the way it is.

Metroid II is what needs work, definitely.

I wouldnt want it for GBA or DS since it would basically suckify the controls and make the music shit.


I'd probably buy it for 15 if you could download if off the rev and play it on a full size TV.

I agree it would suck on the GBA but it'd be great on the DS.

It would translate well to the DS. I'd love to see the soundtrack redone with better recordings. Sames themes of course.

I still play my SNES cart but it's starting to die out (damn battery).
