which is the best GameShark variant to get?

looking for the easiest to use and most effective GameShark solution. help me out. for the PlayStation 2
 
Why not tell us what console? Don't you think that would help?

Pro Action Replay MAX EVO seems to be the "latest and greatest" one to hit the market. Comes out later this month. One serious downside is the lack of support for codes for the Japanese version of titles.
