So where do you find yourselves making more posts per day; The Gaming Forum or the Off-Topic Forum?

As much as I love games, I post more often in OT as it caters to more than just one of my interests.

I usually flip flop, but I'm mostly around here I'd like to think. I seem to have to often take a break from the gaming forum and its overall cut throat silliness at times.

I think it's important to keep a balance between the two.

That way, the gaming side stays gamy and the off-topic side stays crisp and off-topic.

I generally only play one or two games at once now, and never right when they come out. OT only, and sporadic at that, generally just to come in and troll the political threads.

I hate the gaming forum. Wouldn't go near it with a thirty-nine-and-a-half-foot pole. I'm exclusively OT. Every time I accidentally click the gaming forum I'm reminded why I hate it. SALES DON'T FUCKING MATTER! DO YOU LIKE IT? BUY IT! SHUT UP!

I mostly post in the gaming forum because.. yeah.. it is GAF. OT occasionally for laughs - the extreme bad taste joke one a week back had me snorting milk out of my nostrils. Good fun

OT because most of the Gaming forum consists of speculation (not even rumors) and system fanboys so blind in their loyalty that they can't accept that something on their system might suck.

OT, of course. I have been posting in gaming a bit more lately, but I think it's just the top shelf titles coming out and the marvelous opportunities to troll Nintendo that have been presenting themselves lately. I'm sure that after I'm done playing KOTOR II and the DS bombs I won't bother posting on gaming until Jade Empire comes out in the spring.

Because I'm supposed to care about what you think of me based on my posts on an internet forum, without never having met me in real life, right?

But to answer your question, I don't always do it on purpose, but on the gaming forum, most people think that being negative or not being "rah rah go [industry company]" all the time=trolling or idiocy, and most of them are pretty much out for blood anyway, so on occassion it's fun to toss some meat into the pit and see what happens. It's not like you can get a lot of intelligent debate there anyway

I once posted some pics from the Neverhood in the GF, but beyond that I am mostly OT. The off topic caters to so many interests! Plus I can post pictures of what I would look like if I were a kitty, and the gaming forum rarely gives you that opportunity, although I'm sure it's the focus of some crazy game for the DS. Oh DS, you so crazy!

The Neverhood + Skullmonkeys = Fond memories. The Neverhood was an awesome house, I wish they'd release more games.

you're wrong. your tag says it all. what sad is your generalisation. :lol Biggest fanboy on this forum is imo MSPassiM or whatever his userid is and maybe SantaCruzer.

I have NOT splooged over DS
I did not fly off my handle at the RE4 news.
I love my PS2 and GC in equal measure- right now I probably play the PS2 more but only by a margain. Tight push
The only thing that gets my qualified as any sort of fanboy is cause I hate my xbox. But really.. you can't quantity that as fanboyism. The console has given me no reason to like it.

OT by a mile. People's taste in music, movies, and books are all fantastic here. That and the often good humor found in the wacky videos, link to crazy sites, offbeat news articles etc.

The only time I seem to post on the gaming forum is when some AAA PC title or new MMO has released. I do successfully resist trolling the Nintendo DS on a daily basis. It's hard. Damn hard.
