"White Fusion" Controllers?

(more a nerd than a geek)
Has anyone seen http://www.whitefusion.com/ before? It's a silly little promo site for some sort of new controller. My only puzzlement lies in the fact that I can't tell what is so "remarkable" about the video playing on the title screen. Any thoughts as to this "evolutionary" new controller design?

The video playing looks like mouse control, and they're stressing the fact that an ordinary console controller can't do that (even though the video they show appears to be from the PC version of Unreal Tournament; the DC version didn't have lighting like that (see Flak Cannon), that I can remember), so I'm assuming it's some kind of revolutionary controller which offers near mouse precision for consoles. Maybe it's a trackball, given the way their background image is conveniently covered on the right-hand side, where I'd assume a trackball would be placed.

edit: Apparently it's footage from the PS2 version of UT. Nevermind. Also:

In the words of Grant Collier, President of Infinity Ward (Call of Duty), after having tried a prototype on a console: "With RELFEX Control, players will spend less time fighting with their controller and more time fighting their opponents."

And, in the words of a high-up Sony Executive:
"Your [REFLEX Control] controller provides an unfair competitive advantage over players with a standard controller."
I've never even heard of this thing before, hopefully it's awesome and blows me away.

Previous attempts at 1st person shooter controllers have been quite dismal. Microsoft's Dual Strike and the Pistolmouse FPS just didn't work for me.

I'm going to follow White Fusion closely. If the video is really from the PS2 version and played with a handheld controller, it looks very promising.

I have never really gotten used to analogue stick fps control, "Halo-style", especially on PS2.

I just don't see what's so impressive about the movie. The movement and looking is do-able with dual analog sticks, and anyone can kill an enemy point blank with the flak cannon. They should show shooting enemies from a distance -- a real test of controller precision.

Edit: but even though the movie wasn't that impressive, I can't help but being interested in what this new technology will be. I mean, when you compare the impact your product will have on the way games are controlled to the impact analog sticks had, your product must be pretty darn good!
How good is it?
We can say this: in the same way that adding joysticks to the current generation controllers was not doubted, REFLEX Control should not be doubted. You would never choose to abandon the joysticks; REFLEX Control is that indispensable.

this is actually a great idea, but I doubt it'll ever become mainstream unless MS/sony/nin add a trackball in place of the right analog stick. Not a loose trackball, mind you, but one that rubbery and firm and only moves when you roll it with your thumb. It can be used for Camera movement or aiming primarily, but it can also allow for some "revolutionary" game types to be played on consoles (more FPS with precision, RTS games, and games like golf and bowling can use it as its swing mechanism).

this is all in theory... I'm not sure if it anyone can make it comfortable.
