It seems like Capcom is going to announce a new game on Sep/24. Currently they put a short flash teaser on their Website (http://www.capcom.co.jp/20040924/).

Based on my very limited knowledge of Japanese, the first two sentences of the flash say:

All alone, I open my eyes,
The nightmare continues...

Who can figure out what it is like they did to the NICO flash?

I just figured out one more sentence, now it's like:

Sounds like a survival horror game to me.

Sounds like something from Resident Evil or Dino Crisis. Those lines remind me of the lines that pop up in RE games when you load the game. And "...nightmare continues.." makes me think it is a sequel to something. Maybe a PS2 Dino Crisis game. Or maybe a RE Gaiden type of project.

After all those times of entering the copy protection in Darklands for the ol' 486, I had a gut feeling this was an alchemy symbol and I was right.

brandonnn helped me google up this page and I guess that means it has something to do with mercury.

No idea what this is supposed to mean, though. Could mean absolutely nothing.

Edit: I know we're talking about Capcom here, but I think you guys are being way too limited in your thinking. I see absolutely nothing here that points to it being a new game in an established franchise. Doesn't sound like Dino Crisis at all.

Didn't Dino Crisis 3 suck ass? And didn't that Dino Crisis FPS on the PS2 also suck ass? That doesn't give me much faith in them doing something good with the series.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Outbreak File 3.
