Who did backyard wrestling?

Back in 2000-2003 I was completely gripped by it until I left school and went to college, but it was so much fun.

We also held a 24hr hardcore title belt which saw me being pinned in the middle of a school classroom when the teacher left the room. I was hit with a thick book and a calculator to the head (a calculator in a history lesson)

Also broke my best friend's wrist after jumping onto his lower back whilst he did a press-up. It was called 'the diaper'. My finishing move.

Share your insane stories if you're insane enough.

13 years old I used to put my neighbor friend in the figure four and torture rack. Then a bigger kid moved into the neighborhood that could power bomb me and I ghosted like Barry Windham from a dry county.

hell yeah wed did. wed get the whole neighborhood in one yard and have tournaments. one of the kids moms helped him make the belts from arts and crafts supplies they had. he had a heavyweight, hardcore, tag team, etc. the winners would actually take the belts home and bring them back next time we all got together. we even had WWF and WCW walk out music albums and would get to choose our walk out song. those were the days man.

Ha, similar here, but we just bought the belts from local toy shops that were full size. Yea we also did the walk out music to CD's and sometimes we used to do beatboxing and acapellas. Nothing funnier than your friends humming the theme tune from Kane or Stone Cold.

Yea back then the whole street would be involved. I was getting a beat down and was expecting to lose again when my friend had to go home to do some babysitting after his mum shouted him. He quickly let me pin him because she was a bit of a dragon lol.

I watched the DVDs as a kid. :D
But no i wasn't that crazy lol
Wrestling on DVD's. You absolute snowflake haha.

Back in 2000 (VHS) when Undertaker returned, I fell asleep just 3hrs before school and knew everyone would be relying on me to provide details, I had to rewind slowly to see what happened. I wish chapters existed back then.

We did indoor wrestling too. I remember hitting one of my friends over the head with one of my Christmas presents. Turned out later the present was a cycling helmet to protect the head.

Bed as the ring was the place to try out tombstone and pedigree finisher moves.

Tried the walls of Jericho move on my friend and he hit his head into the wooden part of the couch. We lived dangerously back then.

Ha, yea we'd turn into anatomy experts when legs were involved. I remember playing soccer in the park one day and had to defend my 24hr hardcore title to someone that was new to WWF and had to tell him how to perform the 'Walls of Jericho' as he did it on me. I never knew I was so flexible lol.

I watched a lot of WWE growing up but I'm glad I didn't actually act it out. It might have been the fastest way to lose friends.

Instead, I had friends come over and we played the wrestling games on N64, PS1, PS2 and Gamecube.

N64 and PS1 mostly for me. We'd act out crazy fantasies on Goldeneye then play WWF outside.
