Underwhelmed for sure.
I don't like the looks at all, add to it Druckman as well as Taliban''s US office ruling Sony, uh, I will probably wait to see what they did to GoW to decide if I skip Sony this gen...

Hope so. I remember firing up the PS4 for the first time (coming from PS3) and being blown away at how fast and responsive the XMB was, then booted into the PS Store and seeing how fast that loaded. Hopefully there's the same kind of jump.
 
Betrayed by who? Sony for showcasing an absurd number of games that look incredible?

Is there such a thing as a drive-by thread? Because that OP sure seems to qualify. It's a rallying call to all the normal Xbox posters who downplay every PlayStation announcement.
 
Why betrayed? It was a solid conference. PS5 is basically a next-gen PS4. The strategy is working for them and they'll keep doing this. Which is not a bad thing btw.

I think people expected Sony to really bring it. The launch titles are pretty weak, and everything else is rehashed stuff you've already played before, except maybe Horizon 2, that looked like it had some innovative stuff. I fully anticipate Halo to dominate the next gen launch.
 
Lolz nope. It was a solid conferance. I'm hyped. The console is crazy unique. I like that it's not just a corporate looking square box.

Try the Xbox One reveal. Now that is real betrayal. I still feel sick about it.

Yes, I sacrificed so much in my life to be where I am today. All these miserable years begging in the sewers like a beast. And now PS5 will come, with a Demon's Souls remake, and it feels like that Death Star laser beam piercing my heart.

It was an ok showing with some cool games. I liked this gen and can't wait to see where things will go more powerful machines

If Horizon, Ratchet and Demon Souls are all 2021 then that's a whole lot better than first year of the Ps4

I think betrayal isn't the apt word, but I understand your sentiment.

For me, I've felt like Sony haven't been the same since the PS3 when the original leadership left/retired. Generally, when watching the PS5 conference, I felt like they've let go a lot of their Japanese quirkiness which used to be one if not their biggest draw imo. They've become very western centric.
 
I think the problem with the event was, that they showed too much indie stuff.

Had they only shown Horizon, Demons Souls, Athia and Kena, and then show the case design, people would be going crazy.

A console launch is not the right time to show off your quirky furry games.
