Seriously tho. Between Fear, Battlefield II and AOE3, omg good PC gaming. AoE3 has got me interested in the RTS genre again, something I thought would NEVER happen again after Kohan was basterdized by its creators in Kohan II: FAGS WANTED.

Ensemble Online is fantastic too, love how easy it is to get a game going with friends. F GameSpy!

anyway, I've never being able to get into RTS games like Rome: Total War and WC3, so what does this game do differently or offer over and above those games to make me want to buy AoE3? Or if I can't get into those aforementioned games should I just not bother with AoE3?

How has the gameplay changed since the first two? Do you start in ancient times like AOE1, or is it a different timeline like Age of Kings? And does it have an awesome one-player story mode with set goals like the first one?
