Hmmm. What's the word on this guy? Any good? I only care because he's tapped to direct the film adaptation of my all-time favorite novel "A Scanner Darkly" by PKD. And if he butchers it, I will hunt him down and kill him slowly. Preferably with an overdose of Substance D.

Linklater has also done Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, Slacker, School of Rock. That's enough for me to trust him to make a good movie. I love PKD, haven't read this book yet, but I eagerly look forward to this.
