I received a letter from my school recently saying I was kicked out of a certain class because of too many absences. So I had to go to that class this morning and negotiate the situation at hand, explain myself out of this one (something I'm really good at), fetch previous doctor's notes to prove, etc...which is already tough as hell cos everyone there probably hates me already.

But this morning I just slept through that same class I got kicked out of. That can't be good.

What can I say other than it's not your fault. It's ours. The way we, as online forumites, present ourselves have led to this and it is unfortunate to say that many of us will likely not care. Some will say that you fucked up. That you should have set your priorities straight. That it's your own damn fault for not being arsed enough to even set your bloody alarm clock right. That you should care enough about your future to actually show up for class. That you very much deserve to get kicked out of the class and that by telling us here you are only opening yourself up for abuse.

But you know none of this is true. So, on behalf of all of us here: I apologize

I agree, whenever a grievance is raised and a punishment is levelled at you pass the buck and blame society.....or 'terrorist anxiety disorder', that'd probably work.
