Who's getting a Xbox 360 at launch?

I may get one to put in my car (oddly enough), because I'm putting an LCD screen in there. Those wireless controllers will do nicely.

Glad to see everyone hyped before we know jack about the damn thing, save for the name which is stupid.

If you look at the info available you can start putting the pieces together to what games will be offered for the XBox 360 launch. There will still be some surprises on top of that!

Best. Launch. Ever.

Don't forget about Condemned! :D

I'm going to wait until some actual games are officially announced.

No backwards compatibility puts me on the fence for launch, but I definitely plan to pick one up.

The new LIVE interface is really sick though.

PERFECT DARK ZERO

Sequel to best 'console' FPS ever?

Yes I will be there at launch!

Oh yeah!
Wasn't Golden Eye better? I liked PD on the n64 but I somehow doubt Rare is in the same shape to produce something like that anymore.

Quake IV? Tell me more, but I'd probably get the PC version if I had the choice.

Kameo? I'll pass.

Couldn't stand Morrowind for Oblivion is a no go.

Anyway I'll see, maybe PDZ will be good.

assuming there are at least a couple games i want, yeah. i didn't buy any of the current three consoles at launch, though, so that isn't a sure thing. if i'd known how good halo's single player was, i probably would have bought an xbox at launch.

Hell yes I'll be getting a Xbox2.
I am a sucker for the first console of every generation since the NES.

Got a Genesis,3DO(that hurt),Saturn,Dreamcast all on launch day or with in a few days of launch.

Provided there is a Japanese launch sometime around the US launch, I'll buy it. Otherwise, I'll import from the US at launch. No way I'm missing out on it.

I'm definitely getting one, and probably in the most expensive bundle available (depending on the contents of said bundle).

Perfect Dark Zero on Live the night of launch... how can you resist? Just don't screw it up, Rare.

Has any console launched with online from day one? I can't remember if the DC had any online games at launch.

I might get it on the off chance they have it like the Xbox 1.0's now, with a large bios bank on 1.0 systems. I'll be able to flash another bios on there and not spend $80 on a modchip.

Im definitely getting one at lauch. Like many other, Xbox has been my favorite this gen. I do own all 3 platforms and the only one htat hasnt gotten excess usage was the Cube. Next-Gen im once again going for all consoles though, as the Gyro controller sounds awesome, because im big into the MX Unleashed games :D

Xbox 360 - Purchase at Launch
Playstation 3 - Pick up after a price drop or 2, or when its around the $600AU mark.
Revolution - Pick up after price drop or 2, or when its around the $450AU mark.

All 3 this gen have had games i've wanted, next gen wont change. Xbox 360 is my most anticipated, and if the other 2 are noticably better looking it will be great. PS2 this gen has been seriously underpowered and still been a benefit (GTA series namely), so next-gen even if the Xbox 360 isn't the leader in power, it still has Xbox Live, Halo/PGR/Forza/Fable etc. which will more than warrant a purchase.

Also im impatient, i can't wait for next-gen.... whatever had launched first i would of bought at launch :lol

word.

Probably I bought a DS and PSP on launch. and on top of that XBOXEN is the only console I dont own this gen. I had one for a little while but I gave to my brother since it has only a handful of games that are worth playing mainly halos and ninja gaiden.

I'm not going to buy any if they screw us over with the exchange rate. $300 US = $390 AUD.
Thats my major decision whether I get it at launch, <$450 AUD and before Nov. 20 and I'm in, assuming they have decent launch titles. (high hopes! :D )

oh and I have ZERO interest in Perfect Dark ;) if that's all Xbox 360 had going for it, I wouldn't even concider getting the system at launch. RARE is dead to me, I have no faith in them, or their games anymore.

that said, I am looking forward to Condemned, Project Avalon, Fallen Angels, Dark Sector, Unreal Engine 3 games, the Japanese support, 'Halo 2 HD' / Halo 2.5, Elder Scrolls IV, hopefully HL2, and so many more Xenon games that've slipped my mind.

I'm in but it depends on the games otherwise I could wait a year. I don't care about Halo 2.5 or whatever... give me 3. If SC 4 debuts on it I would be all over it...

Australia will get rorted... it won't be any less then $650 at launch i reckon.... i so hope im wrong though :D

I am most likely.

What it would take for me not to: No good launch games, not even good graphic whore games, $450+ price teag.

Splinter Cell 4 will probably be out on Xbox 2 early next year.

I'm leaning toward getting one. Despite the fact that I buy systems and then rarely play them, I can never resist the NEW CONSOLE SMELL. Ahhh yes.

If it has Madden and Perfect Dark (which I'm not convinced will make launch) and a good racing game (a given), I think it will be worth it. I could use something to distract me while I inhale those luscious fumes.

I don't know. I can't see there being that much compelling software for my taste in games, so I don't really want to buy one at launch. Regardless, if a few of my friends pick them up I'll probably do it anyway.

I'm probably picking up a 360 at launch, I'm curious to see if they have new excslusive games and I want to see the spec wars between Sony and MS. E3 will pretty much seal the deal for me. If MS is comparable spec wise and has some good exclusive content I'm in line day 1.

No. Though the XBox has proven itself to be a pretty sweet piece of ass, the next console still has to prove itself to me before I'll consider purchasing it. First-generation software on first-run models made to beat the Christmas deadline isn't that tempting to me. But I will very much enjoy the impressions of others.

Go forth, brave ones.

I'm definetly getting one at launch. I'll get the console, the HD hookups (if they are not standard in the box) and probably two or three games. Then I'll upgrade to a HD tv for Christmas.

I'm extremely excited about the next gen. I don't know why really. The Xbox was the first system I got near launch, everything else I've gotten as the game librarys got better. This time though I don't even care what games are out for it. As long as they are better than Akuza I'll be happy.

Once you get your hands on even one game that graphically stomps this entire generation, you'll want an Xbox 360. (or a PS3, but the wait will be excruciating)

Blinding buying a console with not even seeing it nor any of its games?

Yeah right.

Damn right.

So what crow you want to eat after the stellar XBox 360 launch lineup is announced! :D

baring some hugely dissapointing launch games or design fumbles, without a doubt.

- i LOVE the xbox, and can only imagine the 360's offerings to be even better.

- i'm ready for next gen.

- i need a good excuse to get a HDTV already :D
