On a related note, I've noticed that every time I buy something on my 3DS then try to buy something on my WiiU, the WiiU tells me my password is wrong and I need to re-enter all my CC info again. This is using the same NNID on both consoles, and both consoles have the same credit card and password.

I can buy multiple things on my WiiU over any length of time. But as soon as I buy something on the 3DS, poof password is invalid on the WiiU for the next time I try to buy anything on it and everything needs to be re-entered.


Is this happening to anyone else?

Anyway, I thought it went out of fashion already to nitpick gamepad implementation.

Hard for me to consider it to be out of fashion when it's a continual nuisance. It comes into play at public events I go to twice per month.

Why do i need a keyboard to post on gaf? I have a mouse, no need for gimmicks.

You jest, but I do appreciate that it's very possible to navigate Windows without a mouse. I've had to do exactly that under sub-optimal circumstances in the past.

It's absolutely required because the Wii U doesn't have any other form of text input designed in the UI.

I think your adaptor being busted is a far greater problem. You should get that sorted out cause there's a lot you can't do without that gamepad.

3ds keyboard defaults to lowercase and Wii u to uppercase on the password entry I think. That's probably what's tripping you up?

I have the same problem as the OP. Does anyone know if it is possible to add value to my account using a Prepaid Card and then enter the numbers with the Controller, or is it Gamepad only as well?
