why can't Tyson Fury get in shape

Mister Apoc

Demigod of Troll Threads
Fury is an incredible boxer and sports personality but why can't he ever get in shape

compare him to say Anthony Joshua or even Wilder during their fight looked like he was in much greater shape than Fury..Fury dominated but he looked heavy

Are you saying he isn't sexy enough for you? He is obviously in great fighting shape because he won and pretty late in the fight at that.

How to say you know noting about athletics without saying you know nothing about athletics lol

EDIT: "Demigod of Troll Threads"

Oh okay lol

He is in shape. I guess you mean to ask why he doesn't look like he's in shape? Being muscle-bound doesn't count for much in boxing. These guys tend to gas faster than their flabbier counterparts.

not particularly important to be honest. he is smart with his weight.. see him lean in on wilder when wilder grabbed for a hug. that takes its toll on wilder. also, fury would drop joshua inside 5 rounds.

fat doesn't use up energy like muscle does , which is why flabby people like nate diaz can have excellent cardio and super ripped people like tyron woodley will gas after 2 rounds. he could get ripped, but he would be a lousy fighter. he gets his power from agility and weight

and the love handle fat jiggle... F = ma bitches...

Can any boxing fans shed some light on why we hadn't heard of him between ages 25 - 30. You'd think that's a boxer's prime years right?

Well, he beat Klitscho to win the heavyweight titles during those years which certainly made him a name in the division, but soon after had issues with depression and drugs. That slowed his climb to superstardom.

I rather think there is a strong likelihood that hee plays the fuck outta his games. And eats whatever he wants.

He lost tons of weight, if he wants to keep up building muscles. It is up to him, it will take years for anyone with 60 extra pounds.

because he's british/irish and he is an old school boxer from the 1930s. I thought he's in his 40s but he's same age as me, wow.

weak, unmotivated fat guys propagate his "this is peak male physical performance" meme because they want to have their own version of the fat feminist movement. It's a sad state of mind to allow yourself to get to and I don't recommend it.

Does he need to? It's clearly not harming his boxing. The man is undefeated WBC champion and one of the best heavyweights of all time.

AJ has the body of a Greek god, but it doesn't make him a better boxer.

In shape like AJ and Wilder ? They dont look in shape everytime they hit round 5 then end up a meat sack getting slapped about. In boxing if your going to carry muscle fair play but you have to come like Mike Tyson and slap them fuckers out quick.

He's a natural endomorph. I honestly think his body type works to his advantage for most fights. Dude is capable of taking many shots.

Tyson has insane Cardio, I don't think you understand what being in shape means.
You have to be in great shape to fight a professional 12 rounds fight (especially at world champ level)

Tyson Fury doesn't need to be lean to dominate opponent with his ring IQ.
Just look at Tyson-Wilder II to see what superior boxing ability looks like.

Anthony Joshua proves that muscles don't mean a lot when it comes to Boxing. Guy is built amazingly well, but he's not quite as sharp when he gets in the ring.

If you were looking at just pictures with him and most guys, you'd assume he'd win on looks.

Fury is another level at the moment. It's pretty remarkable the comeback he's had, the guy was in a very bad place at one point.

I remember when Frank Bruno fought Tyson in Vegas. Frank looked like an Olympian God compared to a squiggly Tyson. He rocks Tyson but sadly ran out of steam trying to get the KO. Fury is the zenith of what a heavyweight should be in terms of shape.

Fury may not be sculpted but the muscle is there. it's mostly under the excess skin. he was overweight for a time.

What happened to Tyson compared to the buff AJ and twatty Wilder?

Not always about the muscles.

Beeing that tall is also deceptive. Tall dudes look way less buff than you manlets with the same amount of muscle.

Imagine using the example of a bodybuilding bitch like AJ. Fury, for a 19 stone man, is in shape. Compare his stamina to Wilder than ask yourself again who was in shape.

I don't think it's about that for many. I've walked around looking like a bodybuilder for 15+ years, but I would never in a million years think I could fight some of these "fat" fighters. They are peak performance regardless if their body image doesn't stimulate what many think is extremely athletic.

Tyson Fury is part of that George Foreman regimen. Scary shit. Foreman had more stamina and skill when he was doughy then in his youth as a powerful speed fighter.

the dude is like 7 feet tall. He doesn't even need to expend that much energy in his fights. Just dope the opponent into over exerting and exhausting themselves.
