I have a question for Emenim fans.
Why do all the songs on Eminem show say "Produced by Eminem"?

Most of the ones I listened to are pretty obviously Dre beats.
That song Square Dance is classic Dre so is Without Me.

i dont know about that....alot of the songs on eminem show sound nothing like Dr. Dre beats imo.

they sound like some wierd shit...shit that eminem would make.

usually I can recognize a dre beat....only time I didnt was the break ya neck song or whatever its called by busta rhymes where I could have SWORN it was a timbaland beat but it was dre.

either way, when eminem produces....i dont think he Produces in the practical sense but more in the.....he commands the production but doesnt actually physically produce the song...like he doesnt actually input buttons and keys and sounds....but he commands it and organizes it.

I didn't think em was ever a producer. There's some pretty sophisticated songs on there. I can't see him going from nothing to producing the whole album like that.

just cause stuff is sophisticated doesnt mean em didnt have a major part in It. I wouldnt discredit him like that....he seems pretty intelligent in a musical sense imo.

he is very creative. cant deny that. but i dont think he actually physically made the beats...but i think he could have been the mind behind him and had other people translate his ideas into music.

But im sure for a fact he didnt actually sit down with the equipment and just start making beats....i know theres others that that are pushing the keys and what not.

I'm not trying to discredit him. I love him as a rapper but. Makng beats like that takes some time. I've seen Dre's stuff get better over a LONG period of time. You cant just do that overnight.

but why do you think he just did it overnight?

i dont think so...he could have been learning from dre since DAY 1.

He was probably just leading a group of people to produce the tracks. I used to hear a lot of things were "Produced by DJ Clue", but you know Duro's behind all that.

yea exactly....thats how the whole murder inc stuff was done. it said "produced by irv gotti" but it really wasnt...it was these 2 guys.
