It can barely even set a timer properly. Sometimes it'll even say it set the timer but never did. And to do anything more intricate than setting a timer or turning on the flashlight, your phone has to be unlocked.

When I had my iphone, I could yell at it from across the room. I could just say "Hey Siri, what was the score of the ___ game?" and that bitch would give me the answer.

With Bixby, I have to say "Hi, Bixby" and then wait 5 seconds for it to figure out it's supposed to be doing something and then I have to specifically tell it to google search something. It won't look things up from basic questions. It just says that isn't supported. And this is all only if you are holding your phone and have it unlocked first, of course.

And then there are the Routines. Let's say you have a simple one like keeping your phone in portrait and only turning on auto rotate if VLC is open or something. It's hit or miss whether this will work. It's also hit or miss on whether it will recognize that you are at work if you have a routine like turning off wifi, turning off ringer, ect. After all this time, why does Bixby still suck this bad?

I have samsung a40 and I completely ignore the existance of bixby, Siri or any other similar crap.

Never use it on my phone but that goddamn Bixby button pisses the shit out of me. Had enough of accidntally pressing it and Bixby popping up. Go suck a lemon Bixby.

I never use it. I hate that you can't disable it anymore, but thankfully you can set it to require a double press to use it.

Routines work fine for me. My bixby button is mapped to open the camera, have never used bixby itself.

You can't seriously try to use Bixby. These assistants suck in general, life is simpler without them, at least for now.

These apps need to "learn". The more people use it the more data engineers have to work with. It's why Ok Google / Google Now / whatever the fuck they're calling it now is so must better than Siri. Also Apple prohibits most integration between Siri and others apps so it's hamstrung from the word go.
