i used to drink TONS of milk when i was younger... my mother would actually complain how expensive my milk drinkng habit was.

but somewhere along the road my love for milk halted to a stop after i became extremely sick from drinking a glass one day -- and to this day i have trouble digesting any kind of dairy in large quantities. now i drink soymilk, and i have found that i actually enjoy it more.

Milk is the 'it' drink for me. Which makes me sad that as the only person left in my family who can drink it, I'll soon be afflicted with the same mysterious lactose intolerance that has struck the rest of my family so far.

I think to myself that if I don't let my body 'forget' the goodness of milk by drinking some of it every day, then I won't be afflicted. But I know that it is only delaying the inevitable.

I love milk but I have some kind of allergy to it, I'm not lactose intolerent because I've tried the milk where the lactose is removed and it's no different for me. I drink soy sometimes, it's better then it used to be but it's no where near as tasty as milk imo.
