Why is orange liquid dripping from my face?

So i've gotten sunburnt pretty badly over the last few days, my face was very red. Now it's kinda more tanned than red, but I have really strange orange bits around my face. Every couple of minutes a drip comes down my cheek or forehead or another random place on my face and it's annoying as hell having to dab it with a tissue every time. Can anyone explain what the hell is happening to me, i've been sunburnt plenty of times before, but nothing this weird has ever happened. I've washed my face over and over but it does nothing, the liquid looks like it's coming from under my skin.

When I woke up this morning I had large blobs of dried liquid on my face and I couldn't even make any kind of facial expression and one of my eyes was sealed shut, i had to get up and go to the mirror and peel it off. I'm worried it's going to happen tomorrow morning too, and it really hurt, can anyone help?

It's good you came here instead of doing something crazy like going to a real doctor.
It sounds like you've got smallpox.

You shouldn't be diagnosing him if you don't know what you're talking about.

That aside, it sounds to me like you've given yourself skin failure. In layman’s terms, it's where the skeleton tries to leap out of the body.

Maybe your mother didn't tell you that you're the spawn of her and some demon and now your molting your skin in preparation for your true demonic form to reveal itself.

Oh my good god man, you should've seen a doctor earlier today, after you woke up with that stuff on your face. This must be freaking you out big time.

It's 11:30pm here
You had all day and NOW you think you should do something about it?

Anyways, try Google, too. Type in the conditions. Then see a doctor when you can.

Look, if I've told you people once, I've told you a thousand times:
Do not look directly into the Ark of the Covenant.

Yeah you have really deep 1st degree/ slight 2nd degree burns. Basically that gunk that your skin is secreting is a keratin substance which then hardens and keeps the skin immobilized so that it can heal. You should go to a doctor immediately and get some burn cream. This sort of burn can scar and discolor your skin.

Well I just got back from the docter and she's never seen anything like it and didn't know what to do (bloody useless doctors these days), and booked me in an appointment with another doctor tomorrow.

Hmmm, yeah that sounds pretty likely. Shit.

I had the exact same thing a couple of months ago. It's nothing to worry about, just don't pick at it because the skin underneath will be a little raw.

Greek/Australians

Ton’s of Greeks came to Australia after WW2, Most of us have olive skin so it’s harder to get sun burnt while the Aussie’s with British decent tend to have more pale skin and burn up.

Skippy = the bush kangaroo he used to have he’s own TV show were he always saved the day!

I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that it was skin poisoning. I had that shit all over my shoulders, all filled with gross, orangey liquid. I ended up poping most of them just by wearing a shirt, and then scratching off the excess dead skin. You will HAVE to stay covered up, or get the zinc SPF 100 does-not-go-clear sunblock, or you will continue to have sun poisoning. Worst part is, you shouldn't probably go off of that covered up program for a good 6 months, or else it'll happen again.

Good news: Your skin will be tougher at the end of all this, and you can cavort around in a ninja mask for a few months guilt free.

I don't know. This sounds kind of like The V to me. Maybe he's an alien that disguises himself with human skin, and he's got amnesia so he forgot that he's not human. Surely he's in hiding right now wading through swamps of self discovery.

Can we get an update? Did you go to the doctor?

I'm really curious as to what this is now :lol
Yeah, read my post from a few hours ago. :p I went but they couldn't help me so i'm going to another doctor (a dermatologist) tomorrow morning. I'd take pics if I had a camera, I look like a mutant, it was pretty amusing noticing peoples reactions when I went out to the doctor today.

How long did it take to heal? And how did it heal? Did the strange orangey stuff just fall off?

I once had 3rd degree burns across the upper half of my back. It hurt like nothing else. I couldn't tell ya if I was leaking this orange liquid cause it was, well, on my back. Get some Aloe as well. I gobbed that stuff on and it helped to keep it feeling cooler and heal better.
