House of a 1000 corpses is 1000 times worse than RE2.

WORD.

wtf house of a thousand corpses was pretty cool.

on a somewhat funny sidenote, i bought house of a thousand corpses and terminator 3 at the same time and watched them back to back. as it turns out, they are (or were, at the time) the only 2 movies that formed Singled Out host Chris Hardwick is in. how odd

I rather enjoyed the film.

If you went in expecting it to be some serious horror flick, you were gonig to come out disappointed.

It was just okay as a homage to those crazy horror flicks of the 70s, but it makes absolutely no sense. Apparently that's what the sequel is for. I think I'll pass, though.

yeah, the sequal is supposed to be more of a seedy pulp detective story.

I enjoyed most of the movie except the very end.
She would have seen him in the fucking car!!!

If they're doing sequels, I'd like to see a whole Captain Spaulding flick. Rent the DVD and just keep it on the menu...hilarity ensues

House of a 1000 Corpses was a pretty decent movie IMO. I'd rather watch it again then that POS Texas Chainsaw Massacre(the original).

I think it's crap too. My mates loved it. For some reason.

The guy who;s in that band, cornbugs, was pretty funny though. And fishboy. Weird.

Are any of you sick fuckers interested in "Murder-Set-Pieces"?

I don't really LIKE horror movies... but I like to put myself through them. Does that sound odd? I mean, if it's some sick, gory stuff, it disturbs the shit outta me but then i can say "yeah I saw that fucked up movie. whew!".

But M-S-P really looks like it crosses the line into something completely different... like just totally sadistic sick fucked up shit. Nothing redeeming, just lots and lots and lots of people getting tortured & killed in unbelievably gruesome manners. I don't know if I want to put myself through that.

....but that's the challenge, you know?

So yeah, sorry to derail this thread but nobody really seemed to care about the thread I made for the movie; maybe you horror fans missed it?

Hahaha! You know, I've never seen the "first" one. But I probably should, given the reasons I listed above.

If you are interested in "Murder-Set-Pieces", you can check out FrightFlix' site here (warning: probably NSFW, definitely NSF the squeamish)

House of 1000 corpses is utter bollox.
I dont think it could have been more unoriginal if it tried really really really hard.

Because he is free to do so. I don't beleive censorship is the key. If nobody likes is movies, he will loose all his money and eventually die...

Actually, you shouldn't. Even for a splatter flick, it's frickin' terrible. Seriously, not just from a let's-scare-people-to-Christ angle, but from a technical angle as well. One of my least favorite movies.
