I want to use the Steam Link app, but after using Moonlight, Steam Link streaming performance feels so sluggish compared to Moonlight. I've tried both ethernet and 6Ghz wifi on Steam Link, but it's not my connection.

Anyone have the same experience?

Yea worse latency and worse video quality . Just use moonlight .

I've also noticed that Steam Link latency is bad. Fast paced FPS games are impossible to play trough this app.

Steam link is not as good, but it shouldnt be a massive difference, its hard to say if theres anything that could be improved without knowing what settings you use. Make sure youre using HEVC and try turning off hardware decoding if youre not already doing that.

Tried to activate HEVC, but latency felt worse. Haven't tried turning off hardware encoding yet.

Edit : Hardware encoding can't be turned off now.
