Why No Nintendo Collectable Figurines?

I've got these:

iirc, got them from some sort of market when I was about 8 years old.

I would love to see Nintendo and McFarlane team up to put out some 12 inch Metroid Prime figurines or some insanely detailed Wind Waker figurines. [/IMG]
Hell yeah! Nintendo McFarlane figures would rock my world.

The part of your brain that makes you collect action figures is the same part that will make you collect newspapers when you are homeless.
Olimario's planning on wrapping himself in a blanket of Nintendo figurines to survive the cold winter nights?

today while shopping i ran into a capsule toy machine that had little mario karts (with mario, luigi, peach, and bowser). It's them in their normal racer instead of their specialty kart, and when you pull em back, they shoot forwards like all those toy cars we had as kids.

I got bowser, and will probably go back in the next few days with more change to try to get the rest =)

My favorite Nintendo toys are these small sets of plastic multi-colored pegs that you put onto a screen to make perfect pixel-for-pixel renditions of classic NES game sprites. I have the Super Mario Bros. A Set, which lets you make either regular SMB1 Mario and a mushroom, or you can combine the two screens together and make Super Mario, which is what I have right now. There's several of these sets out there; I saw a Zelda one the other day.

(Sorry for such a blurry pic!

There's a local store here that have those huge mario kart themed figures with Mario sitting on a cart, and I believe there's a Yoshi one

Great Wasabi Man they pop up on ebay now and again or if you are in the uk i may be able to help you out

I got my fiance the Mario and Luigi sets for Christmas, and I picked up the Link one for myself.

edit: The shop I bought them from recently got in Balloon Fight and Ice Climber .S peg sets.

Mario shampoo, RC Yoshi, Mario Bros. Board game, Tatoos, and Mario Paint hat with a bunch of diffrent Nintendo pins.

Ahh I love this kinda stuff

Wow I would love to get a mariokart yoshi...

And how exactly does that board game work? Never seen it before...

The RC Mario kart thing is awesome, there were more than just yoshi too.

I never played the board game, but I remember its like a co-op 4 player board game, where everyone plays to move mario through the mushroom kingdom (board).

Ill get around to playing it one day. :lol

wow i really love those mario figurines with the lego hands.

And does anyone know of any collectible toy sites that sell this stuff, nintendo in particular, that do not run through ebay?

I've got an online Nintendo-store, and I would LOVE to sell things like that, but I can't find distributors to buy them from... not here in Scandinavia, that is. Anyone familiar with the market willing to point me to good distributors of these things, feel free to give me a message!
