Y'know, I often see posts on here saying how cool it'd be if consoles switched to DD only. I hope these things have physical media forever, DD-only is a dark future indeed. Like Days of Future Past, only with giant metallic Reggies instead of Sentinals.

game phoned me earlier. apparently they are no longer honouring the £349.99 price for the zombiu bundle, it's now £379.99 with a starter pack. that's the cheapest zombiu bundle.

naturally, I questioned this and said I placed a deposit for a £349.99 xombiu bundle, I was told I could get it at price, but not tomorrow. I'd have to wait for the second shipment, which is coming in 15th of december.

what are my options here? should I go in tomorrow and demand a the £349.99 xombiu bundle? are they obligated to honour that price?

I'll definitely be doing this. I was worried that they weren't obligated to honour the earlier price but it sounds like they are, especially as the price is on the pre order receipt. thanks for the advice everyone.

I would do this, but I have a substantial balance on my points card that I'm using toward paying for the wii u. I don't mind paying £20 more than zavvi for the bundle, but the new price and extra of starter pack is really aggravating me.

who knows, I might have bought it if they tried to sell it to me as an extra in store, but to forcibly add it to the bundle and then say I can't have the bundle for the price I pre-ordered it for is insulting.

I got an email from DPD saying it would be delivered today with tracking information, but not an actual window.

Mine came at about 9am but obviously it depends on the route of your delivery driver.

I went to Amazon this morning, pre-ordered a Zombi U bundle (£329.99) and it was dispatched about an hour ago, chose Free Super Saver Delivery and it's being sent by Yodel, so who knows when it's going to arrive, but I'm not bothered since I'm busy at work until early next week.

You should try and get the update started at least. The setup process is brief as long as you don't have the problems connecting to your router.

Over the years i've had 3 packages "lost" by them, including 2 which they said they delivered by never did.

I don't order large products from amazon any more just incase they use Yodel again.

They can be pretty careless with packages. The issue is that employee's can be anyone...you will have part-timers driving up in random cars not company vans/cars sometimes...and sometime they just leave stuff outside unbeknownst to you. There has been horror stories of people finding their packages days/weeks after in bushes/tree's/behind rubbish containers.

I have had only one bad experience...they left a kettle I ordered in the rain behind a plant pot/gas meter covered by plastic. Which I didn't mind too much but it's kinda unprofessional...

Wow at GAME raising their prices at the last minute. That's pretty disgusting. Glad I went with ShopTo as I have it now and for a lot cheaper than GAME are asking.

Was the same as when I bought my 3DS at their midnight opening. Practically wouldn't let me leave the shop unless I caved and bought a warranty. I resisted, but was pissed off I was asked at least 5 times by staff and manager.

I've had a few non-gaming Amazon items delivered by them and not had problems. I always get either this middle aged fella who always wears an old jumper, or an equally scruffy woman. Yeah, they pull up in what look like their own cars. I hope they don't let me down this time.

Ugh, don't make me more sad. It's been "in the van" since 06:20. Apparently they deliver until 9 but I'm not kidding myself. It'll say it's back at the depot soon I'm sure. Never ordering large packages from amazon again if yodel/HDNL is who they use in South Yorkshire.

The moment you enter the eshop you have the chance to link your club nintendo account with the Wii U, but i haven't got any points yet for that, so... I don't they are able to give you points yet.

Because amazon.co.uk fulfilled the orders for £199.99 for the Premium edition, I was a bit pissed off having payed £299 at the same time (13th of September).

As recompense I got a £5 gift voucher.

Ask for more than £5 - I plucked that number out my head. Wished I'd asked for a tenner... also it will be judged on a case-by-case basis.
