My DPD depot is only 8 miles away so only a short drive. Sadly I took the day off and they failed delivery...... Obliviously I'm not bitter.

Is it possible to pick up from their depot, i'm only 40 mins away (Enfield) and i'd rather not have to wait until monday.

Game just charged me £54.99 for ZombiU. I had to go with it, because I had credit there, but they wouldn't price match and they wouldn't drop it. Madness.

My order for Zombi U only just changed to pending. Processing on release day instead of in advance is a disappointment. I'll stick with the usual suspects for release day orders next time.

Yep. Give them a call, 0800 100600. I just did, they said I can pick it up tonight when the driver gets back, which will be about 6pm.

Hmm, might have to do that, just got off the phone with Shopto, they're trying to arrange redelivery and are waiting for a call back from tnt to see if they can "locate the package", wtf...

Phoned customer support, now Amazon is blaming Nintendo for sending them a batch with the game missing, and said that they're investigating the matter' - which sounds like a legal dispute. Amazon were completely unwilling to send me a replacement Nintendoland or give me a partial refund.

The reason for the high prices is to try and force customers into buying a launch bundle, in which the games are actually of a reasonable price. As its a new console, they can get away with it.
Still no less ridiculous though.
No, you didn't have to go with it at all. The credit doesn't expire at midnight tonight and there was chances to order it much cheaper.
Anyway, still waiting for Yodel. Maybe if I go outside and actually yodel out loud they might get here.

My WiiU got delivered aroun 11am today, had a hassle setting up the WiFi but found a handy guide on the Nintendo forums. The WiiU update took about 45 mins to download and install signed up for my NNID, smallios, had a look around the Miiverse and now downloading the update for Nintendo land.
You have my sympathies. Bunch of inept jokers.

Yodel/HDNL delivery people drive around in normal cars and generally look like they were just picked up off the street and asked to deliver the package.
I really don't know why they're still used. Fucking awful, I always have problems with them.

My first impressions:
- The console unit itself is pretty ugly
- The GamePad is very comfortable, I like it
- The power brick for the console is way too big
- The HDMI cable is ridiculously short
- The update didn't take too long, around 40 minutes or so
- I've only glossed over the MiiVerse stuff but it seems pretty good
- The eShop runs very fast but there is FUCK ALL on there, and the prices are laughably high *UK store*
I'll reserve further judgement until my games arrive tomorrow!

Same here, I've not done anything except sit and wait all day. I keep thinking I'll watch a film, or fire up a game or something then think "Nah, my Wii U will be here in ten minutes, there's no point!!"

and if you cant see it or its blocked for some reason here is what i did
1. Go into connection types, Hit "Manual Configuration"
2. Input your SSID
3. Input the correct security type, this is key.
4. Put your password in properly
5. For ip address "Do not auto obtain".
6. open up cmd in your computer, type in ipconfig
7. Now input that ip address but add 10 to the last number so "192.168.0.1" will be entered as "192.168.0.11"
8. Enter the rest of your info inside such as subnet mask and default gateway exactly as you see it in your ipconfig.
9. Now hit next, hit configure now for your DNS. When asked about DNS hit "Dont auto obtain".
10. For the first server put in 8.8.8.8
11. For the second server put in 8.8.4.4
12. Hit Next, when asked about a proxy hit no proxy
13. Leave mtu as the default
14. it should work, if not check the ip and that it is the internet ip + 10. Good luck

Don't know if you're near me or not but I've had fun and games all day with TNT. I found out that their driver fucked up and didn't pick up yesterdays freight meaning that it hadn't reached its designate depot (Enfield) and was on a 24hr delay. They don't move freight over the weekend so the earliest they can get it to me would be monday.
I decided to fuck them and get one in town instead and will return this bundle on monday!

Deliveries stop about 6. Give them a call, no need to leave it to fate. The people there are lovely, they'll sort you out.
