Has this ever happened before, where a system is released in the US in the spring? I know it's happened quite a bit in Japan, but I don't remember any big system launching in the spring in the United States. Just the fact that Christmas...even if you take the 360 out of the equation completely, will empty a lot of people's pockets, makes a launch for a new system put a lot of strain on people's pockets. Do you still expect record-breaking launch day numbers from the PS3 if it's launched in spring? Do you think Sony will actually be able to meet demand both in US and Japan if launched simultaneously? Could it mean that the US has a chance of seeing the PS3 first, before Japan? Speculate ahead folks....
