Makes zero sense in today's day and age. Don't scare yourself with things that can't happen.
Not only that, but it's the same solitaire from Windows 8. Were there really that many people that skipped 8 and went right from 7 to 10?

Considering that many people will stay on local accounts - especially Enterprise - making the activation dependant on a Microsoft account would open an ugly can of worms.I know previously, it was tied to the hardware. I remember major hardware changes sometimes triggering a need for reactivation. But I thought with this process, it is now tied to the account given no sort of product key was needed.
And once you upgrade to Win10, you can then easily do a clean install with little issue if you want to start from a blank slate.

Lol.
People need to learn to not store their porn inside indexed folders, specially not anywhere near the "Pictures" folder.
Should I install this on my Dell Venue Pro 8?
I can't seem to find any information on how it will affect performance on smaller Windows tablets.
Up and running last night using the MS tool.
Still no Cortana in Canada...sigh
I don't have Windows 10 Home, so I need to check. For anybody who has Windows 10 Home specifically, does it have group policies?
I love W10 but I hate the very slow boot/startup. That empty black screen is kinda scary.
Going to post this here, too.
I have Pro and a friend with Home wants to know.
Agree, on my first reboot I thought I was going to need to reformatI love W10 but I hate the very slow boot/startup. That empty black screen is kinda scary.
So I still have a folder called "$Windows.~BT" taking up almost 4 GB of space on a fully up to date Windows 10 Pro install.
No idea why. Safe to remove?

SSD is life.I love W10 but I hate the very slow boot/startup. That empty black screen is kinda scary.
No, it doesn't.
So I'm guessing it's safe to delete Windows Live Essentials? Looks like it's been made obsolete.
need to get in on that ssd life mang
SSD is life.
Expensive and doesn't have the TB amount yet.
Though I guess buying a small SDD then a separate HDD for games and programs would be also good.
Yes. Trust me, having some SSD in your life is worth it.
Caution to nvidia users:
If you're using Precision X, it'll create crashes and issues in various games. Uninstall for now.
Same problem on one installation.
Still looking into it, so I feel your pain.
So I'm going to ask this one more time in here. I've been in the preview program for about a month now through numerous updates, I get an e-mail from Microsoft saying preview people get upgraded first.
Was I supposed to get an update yesterday as I didn't get anything.
...the fuck is my WIN10 Microsoft?
Its on my SP3 and a backup laptop but still waiting to go on my main PC at home.
I wanted my home PC to be the first one I installed it on in case of any hiccups because I use the other two for work during the day. And it'll end up being the last.
One thing that really annoys me is the removal of the OneDrive App. I use OneDrive for my work files and liked having the app shortcut on my taskbar at the bottom of the screen for 1-click access. Now they've done away with the app and moved OneDrive access into File Explorer and now I've got to do 2-clicks instead of one. Yeah..first world problems I know but its really annoying. I have not found a way to pin OneDrive on the bottom taskbar. If someone has this knowledge, please share !!
