Did the Reddit thing of deleting the Download folder and it worked for me. My previous $Windows.~BT folder was 5.8GB and it downloaded the whole thing this time. It re-downloaded and did its thing inside Windows Update. Restarted itself and it's currently at 92% of upgrading.

1. Go into "C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download" and delete everything in that folder.
2. Now, run the command prompt as an administrator. Type in "wuauclt.exe /updatenow".
3. Go to your Control Panel > Windows Update and your Windows 10 should start re-downloading from scratch, hopefully without flaws this time.[/QUOTE

I used the method on Reddit, which got it to download but it kept failing when it went to install.

I used the tool to make the install.esd into a bootable iso file, mounted it, and installed from that just fine.

I just looked at my network traffic and it is downloading shit even though it's not showing on the Windows Update thing. This is after It worked the first time but failed to install.

Used the Reddit trick. Running Windows 10 now . Everything is running smoothly. No issues. Seems to be a lovely OS. My 3DMark FireStrike score went up by 3 points!!!11

What error? Mine said it "couldn't find boot.wim

Error code: 0x8007002"

I'm wondering if it's still downloading (I have no way of knowing if it is) or if the download got corrupted or what.

i clicked check for updates and did the command prompt at the same time and it seems like something was downloading but it ran into an error. i also tried the command prompt after checking for the update and that doesn't force the download either.

I keep getting errors though so I'm stuck at 1024 x 768 right now which is really annoying.

It seems that my C drive does not have the system partition on it, and it is for some reason on my other drive which is on its way out.
When I upgrade to 10 will it put the system partition on the C drive?
