Started messing around with the MS Visual Studio Tools for Windows Phone. The tools are pretty impressive, can get a lot done with almost no programming skills.
I have a little project/app idea I'm working on. When I get my next phone I will unlock my Focus and make it a dev phone.

Are there Windows 8 builds being hacked onto any WP7 phones yet?
Impatiently reloading the FedEx package tracker to see if it gets to my area by this evening. If it gets remotely close, I'm gonna see if I can just pick it up wherever it is. It's supposed to ship by tomorrow but gat damn I can't wait any longer.

For those of you that use Facebook, do you find yourself using the Facebook app or just the people hub? I've only had the phone for three days, but I've just been using the people hub so far. Same question for twitter.
Three days for the Titan now, I love everything about it. Fantastic device, and Mango is great.

You must live close to wherever AT&T shipped from. Mine shipped yesterday and isn't scheduled for delivery until Wednesday.
And the people hub is nice for quickly checking it, but doesn't have all the functionality. I don't think you can add friends through it, tried adding a coworker but didn't see any way to do it.
Only apps I had installed were the free Minesweeper and Sudoku apps from Microsoft, not sure what else to go for. Anything good for voice-to-text, or voice commands? Or better yet is there anything built in? Looked for that before I took my phone back but didn't see anything.
I'm enjoying my new Focus S but I can NOT wait until tomorrow for my titan to arrive. I now wish I would not have second guessed it and gotten two Titans
I tend to just use the people hub for both.
I live in Pennsylvania. I did order right after the deal showed up the website though. Maybe that had something to do with it?

I have no clue what happened here. You see my Letter Tiles? They are supposed to be colored in. I noticed this after I installed an app (don't remember exact) and now I can't get it to go dark again. It's like this on the light and dark setting and I even restarted the phone. No go.

Either way, I actually prefer it the way it is. By having the background bleed through it's much easier to differentiate versus apps. They'd blend in really bad otherwise.

I'm not sure it did, I'm fairly sure it's empty to separate the letter tiles clearly from the apps, I've just added apps until the letters appeared and they came straight in as enclosed rather than filled.
The people hub is all filled as the people icons aren't the same colour as the headings

The People Hub is how mine looked all day today until a few hours ago. Stock, NoDo, Mango-Beta and Mango until now. The bleed through background is ugly, imo. I really hope this is a bug, but you guys seem to have it too which makes me think it's not. Google images also show the same thing.

well I ran the Mango beta and the bleed through was in that as well, you say it happened after an app install? I'm guessing that the letters weren't actually there, i'd bet if you uninstalled one or two apps the letters would disappear, thus creating the complete filled look again..

Yeah, I heard there was a 45 app limit BEFORE the letters started showing up, but it was always on my Focus on the Mango Beta and now on my HD7 with non-Beta installed. It is quite odd it just happened today randomly. I un-installed all the apps and it's still like that. Guess I just gotta get used to it.
ok having an issue with the Focus S that I'm not sure will workf for me... I use the phone a lot for phone calls and prefer speaker phone while working.
Most everytime I am speaking wiht someone on speaker, they get feedback on their end. I think it is attributet to the fact that they moved the speaker down to the bottom instead of how it was at top (rear) on Focus. The mic is almost next to the speaker.

might restore my HD7 back to mango beta to have a look, but I remember the tiles being the bleed through variety, though it may of been different in beta 1, I don't remember though...
did find this though Mango hands on video what's interesting is the video was uploaded a month or so before MS released the beta to the devs but the video shows bleed though tiles, though thinking about it i'm sure I saw the same effect on my HD7 during the beta, perhaps filled tiles was a bug??
Maybe it was a bug, sigh... I really wish it would've just stayed that way. I liked it a lot better. The bleed through, to me, just doesn't look right.

I'm having an issue where I had a SMS messaging thread with a contact, and then a linked contact sent me an IM, and it started a new message thread. I even deleted that thread and sent them an IM in the original messaging thread and when they replied, it created another thread again. Help?

At NEO for my new job today and there was an At&t store nearby so I couldn't resist going there during lunch. They have Titan right next to the Focus S. As much as I like the black on Samsung Amoled screen, I don't feel the Titan was horrible. The color looks good and while the black is not deep black, it's not that grayish color either that you found on HD7. The screen on Titan is very nice and I actually do prefer the less saturated color.
The phone look gigantic but when you put it in your hand, I don't think it weight much more than my Focus (with feather case) or any bigger. Though I really am having a hard time getting used to that giant size tiles.
The phone feel great though. Nice solid uni-body feel and much better to hold than the Focus S. The guy at the store told me that if I want to stick in my old sim, I would have to take it into the store to get 4g to work.

cool. I should have both in my hands to compare tomorrow and I have until the Titans are restocked to trade my Focus S for another titan so I'm going to really be able to decide which is best for me. It's a shame that each seem to have a couple of issues especially coming form Focus which was perfect.
As for "feel" I have to say, I always end up putting my phones in cases so really the feel and to some extent, shape of the phone (aside from weight) are really over rated to me. Focus S even feels thicker and solid in a case. I'm guessing so long as the black is ok and the call quality is good I will prefer the titan. Also I am old and my eyesight sucks so I'm partial to the bigger text on titan but aside form the speaker reverb, on F-S, I really do like the phone. I'm getting new glasses with better reading ability soon so hopefully I will see what I'm missing on the smaller screens.

Not really. The screen on the Titan is very nice and the pros of having a much larger screen and better color reproduction more than make up for it.

Great I encountered a new bug, the Focus I have was burning a hole in my pocket and chocked on teh download of a couple podcasts. Now I can't remove my subscriptions from them on the phone and it won't sync.
Worse still, it won't save any pictures, I can take pictures through Birdsong, but in the actual camera app when you snap a picture it crashes to the start screen. I pulled the battery and repeated tried to delete the downloads that are stuck in queue but I was only able to remove a couple podcasts this way.
I might have to wipe and start clean. Like I thought I was going to after the Mango beta.

I was planning to unlock my phone today and ran into the same message. From their twitter it looks like it's been over a week.
I hope Microsoft don't pull the plug on this. I'm not paying $99.
Don't worry, they'll get more. The same thing happened to me at first and I waited about a week for them to get more tokens. Once it was up again the process of buying the token, unlocking the phone and applying the ICS/Interop Unlock took about 30 minutes.

Only works on first gen HTC-devices and not if you've installed the latest HTC Rom update unfortunately..
I have the latest HTC update and it worked fine on my HTC 7 Pro
