3/5ths through the show!

So far, every episode that has had even a little focus on Yuri has been really good, and this episode was no different. The choreography and animation of the fight were well done also.

The monster this week served to put the Precure's relationships at the center of the stage, and it was quite effective.Yuri has quite a bit of depth to her character compared to the other characters, and it helps make the troubles Potpourri and Itsuki face more meaningful, since she still doesn't like or approve of the new Precure. Interestingly, that same animosity doesn't carry over to the fairies. She smiles when she's talking with Potpourri, and yet clear disapproval is shown when speaking with Itsuki. Even after the resolution of the episode, filled with the power of friendship, etc, Yuri hasn't changed.

I'll probably take a more passive approach to this. Nothing else to do? Knock out an ep or two. I doubt I'll make a strong run at the series.

Yes, it is. I ended up buying it. It comes with a mousepad that is...errr....nice.
I like that it is a show that gets right to the point, but also portrays THE GIRL as the nervous, scared, embarrassed one.

Not as bad as I was expecting based on some impressions here. It's still really disappointing that it took so long to even get to this point with the show deciding that it's much more important we witness what a supreme pervert Araragi is in extreme tender detail for episodes on end but if there's one thing I've come to expect from this show is a certain degree of disappointment permeating throughout. That and trashiness, of course.

And dammit I'm gonna have to concede that Shinobu is pretty darn cute (when fully clothed).

Another good episode. The Star Trek style space maneuvering works pretty well with the pirates concept and is keeping me entertained. The competition is weak, but this and Nichibros are my favorite shows this season.

I found a place that has it in stock. Its a very dear price, but its in stock.
SO it's not impossible to get one. Personally I just bought a similar alarm clock to help we wake up in the evening, but its a normal "wake the dead" alarm clock. Hanazawa's voice may be too soothing and cute to wake me up efficiently. It would be a waste of money outside of collecting.

Its an interesting mix in a show that is unbelievably bad. Even by my (non) standards.

Lord of Lords Ryu Knight - 1-8

If you want an anime that feels like some 90s Enix RPG with mecha this is for you. The setting is fantasy, with different touches of others depending on the location. Some towns early on are reminiscent of the wild west, and now they're in a huge amazon. It follows a young "knight" trying to travel to a huge ass sword stuck in the earth. I honestly forgot his reason because they haven't talked about it recently.

So far the anime is pretty good, from what I heard it's a very good anime with a weak ending. The past two 7-8 were the weakest episodes so far but I still enjoyed them.

A mage, priest, ninja/thief, and warrior, what a diverse party!

I've been watching a bit of this current/continuing from last season and to me it's kinda middling. Maybe I'm not choosing the right shows or I dropped it too early? Would like some recommendations.

Nisemonogatari: awesome as expected. up to date
Guilty Crown: so so shitty and derivative. Only the OP/music was good. dropped at ep 12
Ano Natsu: seemed so cliche. expected to enjoy it since I loved Ano Hana and Toradora. on hold at ep 2
Persona 4: mildly entertaining. up to date.
Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou: amazing. up to date.
Amagami SS+: watchable. worst than last season. up to date.

The BRS OVA had nothing going for it except animation. From what I've heard of it, the tv series doesn't sound any better.
