Here's what I've been able to dig up for Shaft sales, restricting it to Shinbo-era Shaft:
So all their best stuff did sell and it looks like Moonphase was right at the Manabi line.
Soredemo was pretty much a flop
I found it really plodding at first, because it strictly goes through the formula in every Act 2 without really mixing it up or making light of things often at all. Furthermore, early episode Act 1s feel really constrained. However, things do loosen up overall, characters start becoming more fun to watch, and then it starts throwing in elaborate action sequences that aren't throwaway formula steps.
The Freudcatch Formula:
1. Person feels constrained by their ego/superego
2. Bad guy shows up, extracts heart flower
3. Monster made from extracted heart, goes on rampage
4. Monster discovered, Precures transform
5. Small exchange of attacks
6. Monster then starts yelling out as the expression of the victim's id
7. Bad guy mocks the victim's problems
8. Precure (usually Blossom) rebuts mocking, shouts "I've had enough"
9. Finishing attack
10. Heart returned to victim's body
11. Mascot shits out a coin
12. Shot of coin going into container
13. NOW THE HEART TREE WILL GET BETTER

Also i have artboxes with all discs for moonphase and paniponi dash, arakawa, maria holic, hidasketch.
Oh wait also i dont have Dance in vampire bund.
from what i've read it's probably a real good idea to keep it that way.

Kid Icarus colon Uprising colon Thanatos Rising Part 2: The thing about 3D is that, when done well, you don't notice it, but when done bad it definitely jumps out and you keep on focusing on the 3D instead of whatever the fuck is happening on the screen. So what's the fucking point?
This episode(?) felt less lazy than the previous one. These are definitely not in-game assets, as Pit's model is much less... polygonal(?). Even so the animation is stiff. There are some weird moments when the characters act in a traditional animé way, but without any of the fluidity that comes from hand-drawn 2D animation. Also, what's up with the internet references?

I watched I think 3 episodes of that show while it was airing and then dropped it like a bad habit. It had a pretty good OP though but nothing else was interesting, not even the Eternal Loli main character.
ef has a pretty decent rep from fans of that sort of thing. I'm not sure how a Shaft adaptation of a visual novel sounds to you, but I've never personally been that interested in watching ef.
Hazuki is a far superior loligoth vampire girl anyway.
As for Ef, the subject matter wasnt interesting to me so I havent really paid attention to it.

i've heard it's pretty much key-esque melodrama mixed with very pretty SHAFT backgrounds.

So, can I watch Lost Canvas without having seen anything Saint Seiya related before it? (I've seen a lot of the original TV show as a kid, but I don't remember shit, also it was on Italian TV and i can't speak Italian, so, yeah...)
I do plan on watching it all someday, but there's so much of it, and I kind of want to see Lost Canvas only for now. But if it requires prior knowledge, I'll leave it for after I've watched the original series and the OVAs.

This is one of my favorite shows, Tylor is so amazing.
Unless they said Tylor was "the shit!" as in that weird slang way of saying it's awesome, they must be a bad person with no taste.

The motherfuckers still use tape to master anime? you kidding right? not when they already have 100GB blu-ray master disks costing way the fuck less? I know Sony created half the tech and it was fucked over when 3/11 took place - still havent recovered but still they had a master disk section. No wonder the quality is fucking shoddy as shit half the fucking time. (Trust me, Tape is NO where GOOD as the film or Disc Based - you get jaggies, judder and distorion)
As for the digial issues - same with hollywood in this case. But i think there is a way you make money - but you need the Video Game Companies to be on board, and no its not the way you think.

From a death-of-the-episode standpoint, I can see where they're coming from, but at that point you're virtually killing everyone in your head anyway because there's very little reason to care about anyone other than the MC and Mei, plus it's a case of when not if with this final destination story plot.

I can understand why you would think it isn't that big of a spoiler, but I think it's better to be overzealous rather than not careful enough when it comes to spoilers, just to be sure you aren't ruining something for someone who hasn't watched it.

Also I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about with an anime original show like Usagi Drop, it's impossible to spoiler that because it's all about the journey.
It all depends on the expectations of what the series is, I mean wouldn't it be considered a spoiler of itself if I said Another is like Final Destination: The Anime? Or am I describing it in a way to appeal to those who aren't or have passed off on watching it?
