I'm too lazy to make the BRS TV OT alone. Maybe Unknown Soldier can make it, and I'll throw in any missing additional information later. So.... lazy.... :(

I dunno, I think if I made the OT, I would be a bit lazy too.

My OT for Persona 4: The Animation took me a solid 4-5 hours of work spread over 2 days to complete. It made me appreciate the hard work and dedication people put into those crazy huge OTs on Gaming side. For BRS which is only 8 episodes I don't think I could muster the same effort I did for P4TA. It was pretty easy to come up with a cohesive theme and style for my P4TA OT which flowed naturally from the themes of the game, I would have to think a bit before I could begin work on a BRS OT, because I don't really have a theme in mind already.

I guess I could start by watching the OVA again to get some ideas.

I've heard of moe blobs but this is ridiculous.

oh shit it's Takoluka!

The number 4 is such serious business in Japan that people get offended when a character in a cartoon has four fingers.

I thought that also had something to do with the descendants of the Burakumin servant caste in Japan, where a four-fingered gesture was an offensive representation of them or something like that.

Onegai Sensei 1 - 8

Err.. what?
MC was preaching about how to "move forward" he needs to hurt others in episode 7, and then takes a complete 180 in episode 8 ಠ_ಠ

This show has such terrible writing, yet I just keep watching.

This show has the most offensive art in the Spring 2012 season so far. Scroll down and look at those eyeball destroying character designs. Aaaaaaaaaaaaah. :(

Pony-tail girl *hurl*

No no, you see, that stuff and talking is what's happening. So it's not like nothing is happening!

I like the talking. I just don't like it that much.

I feel like Araragi, following this lost snail to some unknown destination it'll never reach. Yet I can't abandon it, because I'm compelled.

Such is the life of those who wish to lead their own harem.

It's all actually a meta-commentary on character design in general. You guys just can't see how far ahead of us Kawamori is right now.

Papa thing anime

I'm actually starting to feel really bad for their situation >_>

Like a poor kitten that is homeless. I want to either take them home or donate money.

My HNNNNG quota has been met because of Hina.

I just finished Gurren Lagann and need to counter these feelings of hope and fighting spirit. Would Elfen Lied be a good choice? I don't really like gorey stuff, but I can't come up with anything better.

You mean, that's actually what it is? And I'm not just crazy? Welp, that's it. We just hit rock bottom for costume design.

I must be the crazy one because on a second take it looks like a tiny hat with bunny ears sticking out. Maybe that's the genius behind the design?

No, stop! Any more joking about this and I'm going to be forced to watch the series just for the jokes about Kawamori's preachy faux-intellectual whatever.

Something tells me that now would be a good time for me to finally watch Arjuna, even though you guys are probably tired by now of reading the reactions of people who are experiencing it for the first time.

Mini-hats are a form of hair ornament in my book. Different accessory, same crazy.

Oh I doubt that.

I see you misunderstand animeGAF

How could we get tired of reading people's reaction to Kawamori's masterpiece?

Oh man, I was just about to make this post now that I finished the episode. Too bad there wasn't a way to show what she was doing when the underwear was in the dryer.

Okay. I'm mentally prepared for this. I have lots of reaction gifs. There's a Big Mac in the fridge that I can eat ironically if there's any pontification about veganism. I can take a break if things get too weird. But yeah, I'm doing it.

I hope my tears and my brain juices will sustain you, AnimeGAF. I knew there would be some kind of initiation ritual, and really this sounds a thousand times preferable to something like watching the rest of Guilty Crown. And at least I'll get to make snarky jokes about that horrible AKB48 show when it airs, so this isn't for nothing.

Eating reheated McDonald's burgers certainly sounds like a sin against nature to me.

No, Elfen Lied is just bad and if anything, you'll just hate anime more than countering your feelings of Gurren Lagann (I watched Elfen Lied as it is; a show so bad that if you watch it as a trainwreck comedy, it's palatable). The first episode gives you false hope that the rest may be like the first, and it sucks when the entire show deteriorates from a strong start almost instantly by episode 2.

If you can, and want something like what you posted, watch 5 Centimeters Per Second (for the depression), and follow up with Bokusatsu Dokuro-chan (for some comedic gore).
