Random big four appearance, specifically censored Suzuki and tsundere Woodman, was great.
Show really does have a nice balance between all the comedy acts and the serious moments that make you feel.
WTF is with all the yuri this season?
Feels as if I ever pick up Sakura Trick, I'll overdose on it.

Better late than never... It's been a busy day.
Date A Live: 10 - 12
A strong end to a surprising show. Seriously. One of the few Harem protagonists with the balls to stand up and work for the harem. Not even death can stand in his way.
The rest of the cast was pretty great, too. Don't think I could choose.... They all have their strengths and weaknesses.
Nevertheless... A good show with some great characters. Hopefully Season 2 can keep the strength flowing.

Baaya looked as cute as button when she was younger, although I swear that when she was looking after Hazuki's mother when she was little, she looked exactly the same as she does now. Oh well.

Samurai Flamenco 16
It took them 3 weeks to finish the opening and this was the best they could do? Really?
Mari has to be one of the most insufferable characters I've seen in recent anime. She's just a straight up selfish, spoiled, piss-ant bitch >_< I kind of want to hate on Moe too but its probably some combination of Stockholm or Battered Wife syndrome that describes the character so it might cross into victim blaming (even if its a fictional character). The character development that happened here, for me at least, really highlights how big a waste of time the Rangers Team arc was O_O. I felt more was done here in 10 mins with absolutely insufferable characters than was done in like 5 episodes with mostly boring characters.
The second half with the homeless dude was predictable in where it was going but I still felt it resonated well and was well written

This straight up doesn't even make any fucking sense man. Just literally random shit happening. If there's a message trying to be conveyed here its being lost in the stupid and ugly that is this show. Maybe if Imashi was handling this I could appreciate the stupid but it just comes off as unentertainingly dumb :/

Kind of a cheap production-wise but alot of the characters had some sweet and cool moments that made for good character building. I do agree that Ryuko's needs to stop with the angsting - it is getting annoying even if I don't have the throbbing hate-boner others seem to have for the character.
Gundam Build Fighters 19
I wasn't too keen on the Nils Nielsen character at first but I've been warming up to him and this episode did a lot to endear me to him. At the very least I have to continue to give this show props for actually having a prominent and good black character (even if he's a giant weaboo) in its ranks and to actually be supportive of interracial relationships. I doubt the producers thought much about it but it is honestly refreshingly progressive. I know I haven't really talked much about this show but I've been watching it from near the start (I voted it highly in the AOTY vote) and I have to say it has blown away my expectations. This is some legit good anime I still have no idea how they are going to cover the secret of the particle or Reiji's homeworld AND finish off the tournament in a satisfying way with only 5? episodes left. I hope Sunrise doesn't botch the landing :/

Neat, Shinobu is voiced by Asuka Nishi (aka Shinobu in Kinmosa). The pool sketch had a lot of great moments in it, and Mitsuki continues to steal the show for her ability to be oblivious to everything. Her reactions to Haruka at the end speak for themselves. The scarf thing was also adorable. The show sets out to accomplish exactly what it wants to, and I'm glad I have it on my rotation, especially near the end of the week. Makes for an easy way to set for the weekend.

First , the fact that the cast is finally expanding , giving us the occasion to see more things.
Second some explanations for the things going on ( mashiro in particular )
Third the promise of more to come ( i like )
And many more comic moments that are sure to follow

You'll find out when JJBA: Stardust Crusaders airs in the spring, unless one of the sakuga buffs here badgers you into watching the OVAs first.

The episode started off with a quote from Revelation, which made it clear that this is going to be one dark ride. It's kinda surprising due to how small Christianity is over in Japan but it does help set the mood though. This entire episode was pretty atmospheric with the storms, slow eating scene, and books everywhere. There was a horror vibe spread all throughout the episode due to stuff like the sound direction and lighting. I also found the setting pretty interesting in that not many shows take place outside of Japan and aren't in a modern time period. Germany in the Cold War era is definitely unique, so I hope they do some interesting stuff with it.
Then there is the Liebert stuff, which I'm going to guess but the kid was probably the one who killed his parents and his sister is saying "Kill" in reference to killing her brother.
So this is another big show that is on my backlog, it was between this and LOTGH. I ultimately decided on this due to Black Bullet coming up. Also I have a ton of doctors in my family so I figure the topic itself should be somewhat interesting to me, what with the hospital politics and all.

So this episode was an introduction to Tenma's pretty much unhappy life, although I'm sure it's going to get much worse. His fiancee is seemingly a shallow money grubbing leech and he's the Director's bitch. One thing I liked about this episode was how it did a good job portraying how conflicted Tenma was about all of this, in that he does recognize what the right thing to do is but also realizes how detrimental it would be to do it. Tenma is indebted to the Director but also doesn't want to give up his morals at the same time. You can see throughout the episode how torn up he is about the decision to not operate on the Turkish man. It's sort of idealistic in that he does fit the more traditional viewpoint of how the public thinks doctors should act. He's also human though and does enjoy the privileged that his position has given him.

Yeah...This show really should have just stuck with the comedic aspects. I'm sorry, but I'm really not finding any of this drama interesting. It's sad yes, but given the setting that the characters are in, I don't really see where they will go with this for the other characters. With this episode, I can kind of see what they're trying to do in this show
I can see why some people like this show though. The animation for the most part is pretty top-notch. It's got some great music. And it's legitimately funny at times.
